My husband has had over 7 affairs all lasting over 1yr starting 16 mths within the marriage and we've been married for 7 yrs.We have almost totally stopped talking and sex is out the door.He does not want me to talk to friends, parents or even my pastor about our marriage because he thinks it is our private business but yet he is not willing to resolve anything. After I had a 6 mth emotional affair with someone after 3 yrs of being rejected, neglected and verbally abused things became worse with physical abuse and boldly cheating on me with other women. He has emotionally moved out and tells me nothing. He has told his family except parents and friends that he wants to leave the marriage and has someone else. All these people know this woman and he has even started carrying our kids there and call her aunty.
I love my husband and I do not understand how i can be so easily substituted. How is it that I can forgive his cheating and compromise he can't?
All his friends think he is so great

I am preparing a class on marraige. What are things that have brought you to divorce or considering it?
Was there another person involved, either physically or emotionally? (office spouse?)
Did he or she spend too much time working? Too much time with friends?
Did he or she degrade you or compare you to others?

My children were up at 4.30 this morning all with colds, would it be selfish if i left them with my husband and sneaked back to bed and cooked dinner tonight instead?

Even though my husband is really bad like cheater,, liar, stupid, etc,, but i still have feelings for him..is it normal to have these feelings towards him? At one moment i feel like divorcing him bt at another moment, my thoughts can't get over him. Whats wrong with me? What should i do? Should i divorce him, overcome my love for him? Or love him and bare his bad behavior and actions all my life.? I'm so confused. My instincts tell me to leave him as he is never going to change..but my heart says, lets stay for a while and see what happens, he might change. I dont know if i will be able to meet new guys after i divorce my husband. I can't trust men anymore. I plan to give my whole attention to my studies and build up a career. I'm scared of divorce. I dont know if i will ever be able to get over him. He expects a lot from me. He Not only expects but want everything from me such as USA green card, cooking, washing dishes, cleaning, job... However, I want him to provide me with everyth

I left my spouse 5 mths ago. Met a terrific guy who is unhappily married. His wife has moved out, moved back in etc over the past couple of months. he says they are deffinitely getting a divorce, just arguring over property settlements. i see him 2 or 3 times a week, sometimes he stays at my place for a couple of days at a time. we really get along with or without sex. we laugh, we like the same music, our views are very similar. you would think we had known each other our whole lives. i just worry sometimes about maybe this will not work out, he won't get divorced etc and i am not good at just having an affair. i really do believe him and i want us to be together, what are the chances you think>

I was arranged and have two kids and found that we are unhappy and not compatible at all after 8yrs of marriage. Are you Staying together for the sake for the family & society? Parents get devasted when their kids marriage is not going well. They pretend to get sick, faint, or even say they will kill themselves if the marriage breaks up. They are more worried about what society- friends, family, neighbors will think of them then their own kids happiness. How do you start over when parents are on a suicide mission out for themselves.?

Imagine, that you get married with an executive, that make a lot a lot of money, but does not do house chores.

After you marry, the next day, he quits his job and he starts working in the house, does lunch dinner, adopts a child, takes care of the child, and makes you earn the money of the house.

Hi... I've been friends with this bengali muslim girl for more than year already and we see each other in school... and recently for the past 2 months we've been calling each other everyday and talking for 2-3 hrs every night about anything and everything and she is someone I can see myself with. However, she's muslim and she can only marry another muslim I think? I never brought up about me liking her or what not.. but I just really like her company and I would do anything for her. Can anyone give me any thoughts on this and if there are any muslim girls, can you please give me your opinions? I'm chinese and I would marry her, but I wouldn't want to bring it up until I get some clarity on this issue because I wouldn't want to jeopardize what we have now. Also, I noticed in school, she doesn't really talk to me much when her muslim friends are around. But when they aren't, we would always talk... And I would also like to know if us talking so much on the phone means anything.

Thanks!

HE is a lovely, kind man when he is sober. He loves me to bits, I know this. He would do anything for me, and he is so proud of me. when i met him he drank every night of the week, 10 to 14 pints plus shots. however as we weren't living together initially, and my then job entailed night work, I guess I was unaware of the extent of it. After he moved in with me, I would come home to find he had done something awful; he broke the fridge, my daughter's bike, the washing machine by deciding to fix them while he was drunk. Anyway, the point is, life changed for both of us. For family reasons, we had to move house, which meant that we bought a house together. Instead of it being just MY home, it was now OURS. And despite promises, he continued to drink. We have been to counselling; the agreement at the moment is he goes out one night a week, and doesn't drink at home. Yet I know he drinks when he leaves work. I see the cans and bottles around the house he hides. Yet I still care for him

I'm just curious, do you think a cheater feels their other man/woman should be faithful to them?

Do you think there's jealously there? If so, what's the point?

My husband and I recently filed for divorce bc i found out he was cheating, he said he loves her so i said he had to go if he wouldnt give her up. So anyway she works with him and she also left her husband. Here is the kicker her husband also works with the same company and is a manager and my husbands main boss friend. I havent told this man I have no hard evidence just a statement from my husband to me and another friend of mine that he was having an affair with her. without proof not sure if he will believe me. Although I happen to know that my husband and her were out of town together this past valentines. Any suggestions?
