from a man who's been there, i would say no it wouldn't be selfish of you to grab some more sleep. Give your hubby a kiss, let him know that you really need to get some more sleep, and that for him watching the kids while you got some sleep, you'll make a nice dinner later, then go get some. Not a thing wrong with you wanting to get a bit more sleep. If he's any kind of a decent men, he'll hug you and tell you to go back to bed as well.

nothing better than resting - sleeping no matter what. our health is important and if you are not well how would you be able to take care for people around you? don't push yourself too hard. it's a shared responsibilities with the kids, you are not selfish. hope you feel better as much as your kids. drinking warm lemon and honey is good to kick away the colds during this kind of season. it's fast and effective.

It depends. Do you have work tomorrow? If so, try to make the most of your day off. Leave the kids with hubby and go for a long walk in the park, or go for a coffee in a local cafe and buy The Sunday Times. Enjoy your day and hope you get a better nights sleep tonight x

Well its not that time now is it? Hope the children are feeling better and you got the deserved rest you needed. If you haven't made dinner yet, do yourself a favour - if you can afford it - order in- for you and your husband, and give the children a lite meal, broth, jello, ginger ale, you don't want to be up again in the middle of the night. I hate Winter - and all that comes with it..

Leave the chicken on (slow) and treat yourself to an extra hour. Either that or the pub does always look good ;-)
