Happily Married or happy together for more than a year, how often do you have sex, and how much of a role does it play in your relationship?

Hmmm, for us it just depends. Sometimes we are really tired from work so once at 6:00 A.M usually. It's not something we "have" to do but sex is not at the top for us both. Don't get me wrong, it is important but it does not make our relationship. Of course it makes it easier that he is my friend as well. Generally 2 times a day. Then there are days where both of us just don't feel like sex and then it is once or twice in that week. It seems the longer we are together though the better it gets. We've now been together nearly 10 years.

Anywhere from 1 to 10 to 30 times a week. Every couple is different and quality is more important than quantity. When two people are in love they don't count! The happiest couples I know, included myself seem to find a number that keeps them happy. Sex is very important in a relationship but if for some reason one person cannot then the other person should be able to go without.

Although we are not yet married my fiance and I have been together for 8 years and we have sex about 4-5 times a week, and it's still as good as when we first started sleeping together, if not better!

Well after 25 years of marriage we have sex at least once a week but I wouldn't say its that big of a factor in our relationship, for about the first 5 years I would say its a big deal but after that its just kinda an extra benefit. Just make sure you make it fun and don't worry so much about performance, fun is best and performance will just happen. Trust me.

i have been married for almost 30 yrs. happiness, well we have our ups and downs. ( no pun intended) but we have sex at least once a week, but more often like 3 times. if nothing else sex is what we have learned to master together and know how to plz each other.

***average is prob only twice a week now. but it lasts for hours at a time, so can i count that as more? honestly, i never realized how big a part sex really does play in a relationship. it's a VERY important part of what we have. we'd both love it more too but we're exhausted from work during the week.

My wife and I have been married for 24 years this past August. We make love three times a week on average. We love making love because we love the intimacy. It isn't so much the pleasure of orgasm as it is the thrill and enjoyment of being so close and so intimate. It is something that only the two of us can share; it's intimate, private and wonderful.

As often as we need. We use sex to refresh and make our relationship better day by day. Sometimes to surprise her.

after 22 years two to three times a week , admittely we have slowed down a fair bit

Anything too much is bad. Have it in a way that you can still enjoy it even when you are 80.
