That all depends on the 2 people.
Some should never marry at any age. My wife was 17 and I was 20.
Interestingly, all who told us to go with our hearts, are still together, and every couple which told us we were making a huge mistake, it's so hard, you're too young, are all divorced. Every last one of them.
Read what you want into that.

at least 26 it doesn't really matter who is older but i prefer the man to be at least 3 or 4 years older than me

My cousin told me he was going to wait until he was thirty, he did. Then several years later ho told me he wished he would have waited longer. My nephew is thirty and looking. My daughter was 34 and her husband was 29. His brother is 35 and single, one daughter was 47 her hubby was 46. Go figure.
