Here's a good one!! Quiet night at home, you cook a VERY nice dinner, romantic setting-afterwards, even more romantic movie at home still. Back to earlier in the day... box of cracker jacks, use razor blade, open up "toy suprise package" put ring in there! crazy glue it closed, put it back in box, crazy glue box closed. Did it 14 years ago & worked like a charm!!! Granted if your woman likes cracker jacks :)

- Write a short, but sweet marriage proposal on paper ... stuff it in a pretty bottle, and have the bottle 'hidden' somewhere where she will find it during the weekend. (Maybe after the kids are asleep & they are all alone.) - Have the proposal stuffed in a fortune cooked. (some restaurants will do this for you). - Drop the ring in a glass of wine or champagne, while she is not looking. Propose while just the 2 of them (or w. kids) are out for a nice meal. :) - I'll try to think of some more things ... I'll come back here later and add to this answer, okay? :)

I dont think doing something great is really the issue here. Bottom line, as long as you can tell her what you feel and what are your plans for the two of you together. A simple dinner will be okey, the finale there is that you ask her. The feeling itself is memorable and spectacular already. The perks will just be the flowers chocolate and a lot of lovin after.
One more thing, try doing a little act. Like make it look like somethings wrong, set up a scenario with somebody. Make her mad, and at the end of it. Pop out the big question.

Hello, I see yourw thinking of marriage that's great. and exciting time. I'm a real romantic person and very sensitive and sentimental, I can go on. But go to the spot that you two visited most, where you share your personal time. That's sweet and show's significance as well and meaning and heartfelt. Depending on the time of year spring or summer time, you can go by the water. Take some wine or sparkling juice. If i think of more I'll let you know but I love tranquility

Have her served a glass of champagne with the ring tied to the glass with a ribbon. Or served on top of dessert. Or, have flowers delivered to her at a restaurant, and have the ring tied on that ribbon.
Have a party, invite all your friends and families. During a slow dance, stop, kneel and ask her to marry you.
Take her for a moonlight walk on a beach, and with the stars shining brightly, ask her to be your wife.
Buy space on a billboard and ask her there.
There's a start anyway.

i like the traditional going out for dinner and doing it lol
theres also having her pulled over by your friend thats a cop lol
baking it into a cake or something and having her find it
making her go on a scavenger hunt with lil prizes along the way and u being the final item to find holding the ring
go on a scenic drive and find a good parking spot and do it there
hold a sign outside her workplace, house, etc
write it on her lawn with something..like spell it out in flowers or leafs or anything....
good luck :)

Slip the ring onto her finger whilst she is asleep, then when she wakes up and notices it, make the proposal. I think the most suprising ways are the best.

To me, a perfect proposal is something intimate and simple, not like a big deal that has to include fireworks or whatever. Take her somewhere beautiful, and gently say, "Will you marry me?" Trust me, either way you do it, simple or not, she'll always remember it.
