Marriage & Divorce - 7 November 2006

My husband and I decided to get a divorce and now I decided I want to stay married. My husband claims he wants to be with me, but that he wants a legal seperation (to protect himself financially). He says that it is moving towards being married. I think it is taking a step back. I am tired of being in limbo. What would you do???

My ex bf's sister was talking to me today about how she is so upset about her brother and his actions. We have 2 kids together and i left him after 9 years due to abuse. I told her that my feelings on the subject are that he has been enabled for so long that he has decided that he deserves to have people bend over backward and do everything for him. He is a pathological liar, and although his sister has done so much for him (paid his rent and bills when he was out of work, not to mention untold hours of emotional support) he continues to badmouth her to everyone he comes into contact with, me right to her face, to her husband. Nobody holds him accountable for his actions, so he continually gets away with all of this. She said she feels as though she wants to call him and tell him not to talk to her anymore until he can come up with a sincere apology, but it doesn;t feel like the Christian thing to do. I asked her if continuing to enable him to the point of almost disabling him...

My husband left me to go back to his country last year and divorced me without me even knowing six months later...before all that he called me names, hung up on me, etc....i was really immature in the marriage while he was here...it just all ended bad...anyway...i keep picking these men that either treat me like crap or are insanely jealous, or not self-sufficient...they just have some sort of flaw...the last guy i was sort of dating just stopped talking to me and blocked me from his messenger bc he was mad i wouldnt buy him a birthday gift cause i dont have money...i got upset and ended up calling my ex-husband...he calls me sometimes himself and tells me how he misses me, etc., but he cant come back bc of his family...i asked him for money this time...he made a big deal out of it and just made me feel like **** and i ended up apologizing for all the bad things ive ever done...in the end he apologized by a text message...why do i keep doing this and how can i break the cycle?

I am a housewife, my husband and I have marriage agreement: if we divorce, he does not need pay for me anything; but he also has supported me for my green card until I work enough for 10 years or become a citizen. So if I divorce, will I get pay?

We have 2 daughters (4 and 1). He works a 40 hr job and and I work 40hrs plus another 20 at Wal-Mart. I don't get any help around the house... NONE. I find out he feeds the the girls practiclly nothing when I'm at my sec. job. (one night it was just noodles) He spends alot of money... some on gambleing. (we are 2mo. behind on house) I feel like I'm doing it on my own now... I love him very much but I'm not sure if I'm still IN love with him. I get more help from my parents than I do from him. My oldest daughter and I are in a dance class one night a week and he can't even stay home with the youngest. He goes fishing or bowling!!! GRRRRRR... I'm so frustrated! I try to tell him what I am feeling... things change for about 3mo then we are back at square one!!

My fiance works nights and i work days, when i get home from work he is usually asleep and sleeps till it's time for him to go to work. My wife will not wear lingerie for anything. We have not had sex for over 7 months, and one day she told me that Lingerie was for whores? I couldn't belive it...She even told my mother......We are in Christian Counseling right now because she has Generalized Anxiety disorder, She also has a vaginal tear that she claims is irrepairable, and she is sexually dead. She wan'ts me to want her, but sex with her only frustrates me. No oral sex....that's a sin also.....What do you think?

Can a marriage survive all these differences, or it will always be the same--meaning one person will always feel less important?

My son has been going through a rough patch in his life. He has gotten himself off drugs so 110 points to him for that one, but he now drinks too much sometimes and gets himself into trouble. He used to be such a sensible boy but that doesn't seem to be the case at the moment. He thinks all police are corrupt so he has no respect for the law. He got himself into a little bit of trouble a couple of months back and he was capsicum sprayed and handcuffed . He was very lucky as he was only charged with being drunk in a public place. He has recently been in the same sort of trouble but this time he has a couple of charges of resisting arrest and assulting police. My husband says he could go to jail this time. Does anyone have any answers for me. I am really concerned for my son and l don't want him to get locked up. Like l said he is just making some bad choices at the moment. He is 23 yrs old, but he is still my baby, he has 2 older sisters. Only genuine answers please. I am very worried

My wife and I were married in June 2005, She gave me an ultimatum for a ring after dating me for about a year and a half. I didn't want to get married to her so soon because she was showing me signs I didn't like....I am a Christian and We both had sex before marriage and We felt guilty about it. So we decided to wait for sex until marriage....Well, needless to say, she doesn't like sex, she is very inhibited, and sex last for about 5 minutes until she hurts. She has a vaginal tear that the doctors have told her is not repairable. I have now been without sex for 7 months. She stays at home now and does not work, she does do some cooking and cleaning now that she is not working, but I would think she would be going out of her way to help me keep our new house spotless. We are in Christian Counseling right now, but I don't know if she really wants to change. Any advice for me? I have never really been depressed, but this is starting to get me down...

He say so many mean things to me, but yet i love him! I'vve tried to cater to his every need, and i've told him to do it himself. Nothing works.I want to be treated equal or almost. Ok so I am happily married and have a beautiful 4 month old daughter by another man(my ex)....yes all parties know and my husband knew i was pregnant when we married. And I just recently found out from my ex that he is not only getting married(a requirement by the air force) because he knocked up his ex girlfriend of 4 years. Now mind you we broke up mainly because he was still in love with her and was planning on joining the air force without making any committments to me (at the time i didn't know he could join with a child without having to be married first). Now lately I have had thoughts of pushing his ex down the stairs, (granted we now live in different state) hoping she has a miscarriage/deformed child, I have even thought of the horrible things I could have my own daughter say and do to her child when they are older. Are these normal feelings or am I still in love with my ex? My best friend seems to think I am still in love with him.
