Okay the good news is, we both have the day off. The bad news is, since we're trying to save money, our budget for this is almost non-existant.
Any good ideas for what to do or give? (besided being intimate - got that one figured out - thanks).

Money has always been a problem for me so this is one after 18 years it's been great so far.... Get a blanket if it's to cold out side do it inside. Just you and him. Start talking about when you first meat and the conversation will just keep going. Have supper on the blanket You don't have to leave the house to have a great time DO NOT answer the phone or the door just you and him all day long you won't believe how good it fells just to spend all you time with him.Have a Great Time!

I don't know what to say, except 2 tell u what I did........I made spaghetti, yeah spaghetti, only I made it special. I mixed Angel Hair pasta and Egg noodles and added a little zing to the sauce. I set up kind of a picnic in the kitchen, moved the table and laid down a blanket. Set up candles and even made a menu. It was romantic, because it was original. Try 2 come up with something original, that's cheap every year. It's the thought that count's......remember that. Ur marriage will go far if u both can b romantic in all u do.......Don't take that advice, I'm separated, lol.........But it wasn't because of the spaghetti! That was 3 years ago!

I don't know where you are from but a nice romantic dinner out would be nice. My husband did that for me on our 2nd anniversary and then we came home and he had rose petals all over the place, they are surprisingly cheap and some strawberries and wine. Oh, and candles. It was very nice. If you want to make a day of it, go out and have some fun go watch a movie or something then go out to eat at a nice place and then go back home and make a night of it....

first anniversary is paper, second is spent mostly at home. Intimate dinner, candlelight, nice romantic music, a funny dvd that will get the both of you giggling, etc.
It can be anything you want it to be. The best part is that year number 3 will be even better!

have a great romantic dinner at home...i nice bottle of wine...candles...then maybe watch a flick.....just have a good night in....as for a gift i personally think a card with heart felt words are better than the gift itself....or you can give him a book of coupons that entitle him to a day watching sport a massage or a night of passion....this way he can enjoy his gift all year round.....happy anniversary
