Marriage & Divorce - 4 November 2006

I hate when my husband kisses me, even if it's just a quick hello or goodbye kiss. Even when we first started dating many years ago, I didn't ever really enjoy a good snog with him. We do make love but not very often and if we never made love again I don't think we'd ever really care. Are we missing out on true love? Are people who are happily married romantically in love with one another?

What can we do to seek justice and support, child services only makes him pay $13 per week, but doesn't, harrassment phone calls and messages. I went over there to talk it out and was assulted, am in process of putting an assult charge on him, my partner and i just want to get on with our life, but i know he has to be invoved in his childs life, but he is going the wrong way about it, i don't want him too suffer but i do in a way, to prove to him to back off and get involved the right way or suffer the correct punishment for the crime. what else can my partner and i do to get it through to him?? we are both very stressed and it is damaging our relationship gradually

i get extremely jealous over my husband's x.I start comparing myself with her + i hear many nice things bout her.I felt i could never be better than her.I know thats the past,they've broke up and he told me shes already a dead body to him.I tried to not think about it,its very foolish and hurting myself for no reason.I cried earlier after my husband told me some things bout her n he is sick of my attitude and told me to forget him.That it would be best for me.I love him more than my life.everytime i hear him talking bout her i wish it didnt happened between them n with me instead.I feel very sorry for making so much trouble for him.How should i start accepting she was a nice person n no point thinking so much nonsense.I would do anything to change myself.

Hi there.I'm A happily married man. I dearly love my wife and we have 2 beautiful children. We are together since we were 16 and have never had any other partners. However I have got this wee crush on another Woman in work. I know its a non runner.. as I said I love my wife and kids, and I am now avoiding her like the plague but I have to work very closly with this person and can't simply blank her indefinitly. Bit of a strange one this, I split from my wife back in October last year and a friend who I had known for years helped me get through the break-up by talking daily to me and being there for me, I admit at the time I did like her a lot though this was nothing to do with the break-up of my marriage which had been stale for some time. Anyway, This friendship turned to more and we started seeing each other as a couple about 5 months later, now for several reasons, we split up in September this year. Can anyone explain why I feel so absolutely gutted about this, in fact more so than my marriage break-up (were together for 10 years). I did actually think she was my soul mate and am absolutely gutted about the whole "were friends, then relationship, now won't speak to each other" thing..Anyone think that perhaps I'm so gutted by this because I havent had time to grieve for my marriage break up yet?, it's so hard to figure out.!!. comments pls!!

my ex is causing trouble again! he didnt turn up again last night and he promised he would an we were ment to be taking are daughter to a bonfire we sat waiting for hours and he didnt come, this upset my daughter. he rang late last nite to say he wasnt coming he'd had a drink and he didnt want to come! he said he would come today and we are waiting again as yet he still has not turned up as promised! this is an ongoing problem! then he will turn it round and say it all me!!! he treatens me with solicitors but as yet as only sent 1 letter then not followed it through its making me ill as i constantly get hurt and messed around! so my question is would a court say he can accsess to her when all he does it mess us about! we split up in the first place because he used to hit me! i rang the police it has gone to court and he is now on probation! he stopped going to probation and they took him back to court he only got a telling off! he seems to be always able to do what he wants

I have been married for almost an year ...but my s''life is nearly dead..its b,coz he is never interested..a few months back he told me that he was in love with a girl but couldnt marry her b,coz of his parentsbut he,s over her and says he is happy wid me then what cud be the reason for aman to behave like this knowing that his wife is very romanticand he doesn,t seem to be doing anything about it..i cant have a kid with him unless i am sure he has accepted me in every way..i am 26 and he is 31..i hav tried talking to him but all in vain..the interesting part is that he wants a baby next year just to complete his family..in my view dat child wud be a symbol of his compromise and not of his love for me..i am new to his country whichis y i feel dat i shud stand on my own feet first rather than having a child wid such a husband..am i right

he only gets his son on the weekends when she tells him he can, they have been divorced since 1998 because she cheated on him, she apparently has a habit of getting a new guy every two years, my bf has been alone for the whole period of their divorce, he says till he met me, he never found anyone he wanted to date, we just started dating about 2 months ago, his ex wife has been nagging him for about a month and a half that it is not fair to their son, and that he needs to be alone with their son on the weekends, that he is psychologically damaging their son by forcing him to be part of this immediate family, my boyfriend and I think that we all need to learn to like each other especially since me and him click really good and are thinking long term. but she is making him feel so guilty that he is confused on what to do? is our way of thinking right? or is the ex right?

Why do men (or women) go out and cheat on thier spouce when they have been married for 25 - 30 years and are happy?! and why do they lie to thier spoce about it even if the spouce suspects that someting is going on and asks the cheating spouce?!

And as the children stuck in the middle, how do we tell our parent (the one who is cheated on) that the other is cheating on them? or should we not?

My girlfriend and I have been dating for about 4 months, but we have known each other for about 7 months or so. She lives in a different country and so we lived together for a bit and then she went back home because things were just kind of overwhelming at the beginning. The reason why I am posting is because we know that we love each other so much and that one day we want to get married, but it seems like lately she has been getting so upset because she wants to get engaged so soon and have the commitment and she gets upset because I don’t talk about it that much and I want to wait a bit so that we can get things taken care of first things like job, house and what not. She gets upset because she says we don’t have to get married for awhile; she just wants to get engaged. She protests that if we know that we want to be together and get married and such, why we should wait. I just say so we can take care of things before we get to that point and she gets so upset hearing things like that. I know she has had a last rough relationship and that she needs to reassured all the time, but she just will not let that go and brings it up all the time and just won’t give me a break about it when I told we were going to do it, I just wanted to take care of some things first and she just doesn’t think that that is the right thing to do. I love her death and we have some other issues we are dealing with right now, but that is the main thing.

How do I make her understand that waiting a bit is ok and that even though we both know we want to be together forever, it would be good just to make sure everything was pretty much inline. She is pretty stubborn about this so I don’t think is much to do, but I thought I would try. Thanks.

My husband was accused of molesting his nephew and was in prison for 15 yrs. When i asked did he do this he said no that he was set up because he was living with his brother at the time and the wife didn't like him and said that he molested his nephew because the kids were going to get taken away so this was her way of keeping her kids. So she said that my husband molested the little boy. for some reason i feel he did it because before we got married i caught him with another man about to have oral sex
