Everyone says they want to find the "one" I am wondering if you think that there is only "one" that is to be the person I should marry. Do I look for that one, or are they supposed to find me?

I am married and my wife has my last name. Before you modern feminist go jumping on me, first read and try to understand me before you go jumping at my throat please saying i am a conceited proud controlling male blah blah.
First of all when a woman is married she takes on her hubbys name. Thats why ladies you have ur dads last name.
My wife does not seem to like my name. and its offending me.She is using her first name her maiden name on new business mail to clients. When she does decide to use my name its used like this . Her first name then her maiden name then my last names initial. Incidentaly her drivers license and social etc all have my name as her last name since we got married. I am not petty. But id like her to identify with my name as her husband and as we build our great future together the world can see the success as that of the Bellfords( my name) and not her maiden name which is her dads.
I ve told her several times but she doesnt seem to respect this. WHY.What todo

If they left you, they obviously are not "the one". To many people don't
even know what true love is. What if "the one" gained a lot of weight, or lost their legs, or got a terminal illness. Would most of these people still consider them "the one"?

I mean, can you imagine being with the same person day after day? how boring is that? why not just date a different person every day of the week? We change our hairstyles, outfits, toys, cars- why keep the same person for the rest of your life? i am just having a hard time understanding why anyone would want to get married, except to make the sex legal.

My husband was in a motorcycle wreck about a month and a half ago. He had a severe concusion staples and stitches all over. It was very life threatening and it made me realize how short life is. I want to do something for him to show him how much I love him. He is still at home recovering and is just know getting up and moving around on his own.

just been hired by guy I've had a few drinks and rather friendly texts with. nothing happened between us, suspect he is married and I have partner (he now knows this). Really want to do a great job and develop career, but heck the attraction is there. I think it is my call - should I make it professional only and put all other thoughts aside....?

My Husband has a boy’s night out, just about weekly. To be honest for the most part it doesn't bother me. We have been together for over 16 years (since high school). I know all of his friends, and he doesn't do the club scene, or strip bar thing. His nights out give me a nice little break, and time to myself. Even though it is fine with me, my married girlfriends can't believe I let him and talk trash about it. We have a great relationship, I am secure, and I know he loves me. I think he works hard and deserves some time with his buddy's. What do you think?

I have what would seem a rather easy problem, but I'm not sure how to do it. The last relationship that I was in was very difficult and I always felt unsatisfied and kind of not really wanted. I am now with a wonderful man who is able to talk about feelings and whom I love very very much.

Here it is: Because of my background, I always need to be told that I'm loved and I really need the physical expression of hugs, kisses, etc. As we have been together for six months, these things have tapered off somewhat (he's in his mid-50's and I'm 41). I know that physical passion is onloy one espression of love, but how do I tell him that I need him to tell me and show me that he loves me daily, so that I feel comfortable and okay, without him thinking that I must be the most insecure woman in the world? Men, if a woman told you that would you think she was too much trouble?

and neither of them told me. It was after my husband and I had sang at her cousins wedding. Now, I asked him if he had spoken with her after looking in her phone and seeing his number in her outgoing phone calls and he told me that he didn't remember but today ended up telling her hadn't heard from her since AFTER the wedding once he said that I knew he had put his own foot into his mouth. Once I mentioned that he told me back then that he didn't remember he told me we were at opposing views at that point as far as she went in which we were among going through other things. Since then we've both decided to rebuild our marriage but after he said what he said I felt betrayed by them both particulaly him because he's my husband and he's fussing asking me why is something that happened months ago relevant to today? I've already decided to discontinue my friendship with the woman but what about my husband? should I just forget it ever happened on his behalf or what?

I have a daily routine where I take care of my grandmother, I clean, I wash, I cook, I wait for my husband, and then he comes home to read all my answers that I post on this thing. I love to see him Laugh at my stupid responses, and questions too! And then I feed him, kiss him for a few hours let him know he's the greatest, then we sit and Play Monopoly until I beat his butt..Honestly I LOVE MY LIFE..! I guess it could be worse is what I'm saying..What about you guys??

You should know that he is the same age as both of my parents, who are still happliy married. I really like him and we have A LOT in common. I'm very close with my family, but they are also very traditional. I just want to minimize the damage as much as possible. You should also know that the largest age gap in my immediate family (i.e., aunts, uncles, cousins) is 15 years.

if there is a custudy battle of a baby that is not even born yet between a newly married couple, for three months and cant even get along, husband is still living with mother, but yet wife is a mother of a 7 year old son that he shows no intrest to or shows no intrest in new baby, he wants full custady because he feels the wife is un fit to be the mother of his child but he thinks a 8pm bedtime for a seven year old is not right he thinks it is okay for the child to do whatever he or she wants , also he thinks its okay to not wear a seatbelt in the car and even if it is in the back seat. im not sure what to do i really dont think he should even fight me on this i dont want trouble on his part.

It's pretty darn hard to manage one wife. I was wondering if there are any cultures in which a man marries more than one woman where the women (however many) keep themselves in line and listen to the king of the hot dog stand so that the household can be orderly, clean and well kept with minimal arguments? Seems that most women would be at each other's throat in no time, but with proper training, diet and exercise it would seem that they it may be possible to keep them happy. Which country is the safest with the highest amount of single, obedient women to multi-marry??

Hi, I was wondering if I should go for women who is older to me in age or younger to me for marriage. why do people say women should be younger to man. what is the problem if women is older by few years or say few months. I am 29 years so is it like that if i go for older women , she needs to conceive within few years as older women have more risk in child birth.

See the guy i married left me twice and then we got back together and got married. But i recently met this really sweet guy but we are just friends. I can tell there is a connection between us.....sexually and maybe even more. What should i do? Should i go ahead and leave my husband of only 4 months......or should i stick around and maybe this feeling will go away. Note that i dont want to leave him for this guy but it is pretty tempting.

Why must couples hate each other, even after they've spent a lot of good times together? Is it really neccessary to be so bitter when one leaves the relationship?

Can they not just accept that it didn't work and move on with their lives?

He refuses to include me in financial decisions while making excuses and making me feel like I can't be included. I really want to leave him, and he knows this. But when ever I get upset and get to leaving, he begs me to get back with him. What is going wrong, he doesn't want to break up but doesn't want marriage either? I am so confused to the point of leaving. Can Anyone Relate?
