just been hired by guy I've had a few drinks and rather friendly texts with. nothing happened between us, suspect he is married and I have partner (he now knows this). Really want to do a great job and develop career, but heck the attraction is there. I think it is my call - should I make it professional only and put all other thoughts aside....?

Everyone is saying professional but you really should clarify that by "professional" you don't mean charging £50 for the pleasure and then being dropped off outside Kingscross Station. I appreciate the extra income would be good but you sound like a nice girl and if you want to go that why I'd do it purley for pleasure!!

Reputations do follow you in the professional world.
You can easily be marked as sleeping your way up or worse just a company perk.

Work and play can mix laterally, but with the boss your MARRIED boss your asking for problems.

Never get involved with your boss, married or not. It's going to be nothing but trouble. Trust me. If you do get involved, then be prepared for all the hiding and lying, then later he gets interested in another hired girl, all hell will break loose. You'll quit, ot he'll fire you. Either way, there is no good ending.

You will be a fool if you take this any further as it will all end in tears and there is no doubt about - you will lose your job and possibly your partner. Is it worth it just for a moments fling? Because that is all it would be to him. Concentrate on your career otherwise, as I say, you will lose your job with possibly no references to get another one.

Yes, forget about him if he is married. Plus youhave a partner as well. Don't hurt two people for an "attraction". Just do your job and go home.

oh man. this is not a good situation to be in. keep it totally professional. just try to put the rest in the past. if he is married and flirting with you that means he SUCKS. and you have a partner so just think if they were doing this to you. i strongly advise NEVER to mix work with pleasure. especially when you both are in relationships (HIS COMMITTED).

sorry babe but that's how i feel.

GOOD LUCK and let us know how it turns out

Be professional and don't even think about a fling or relationship. If it goes wrong, you'll be the one who has to quit your job. It's not worth it. Don't burn your bridges.

Dont even go there. You could lose everything ie job and personal side. Probably just a flirty bloke who likes to prove himself anyway!
