Marriage & Divorce - 10 October 2006

I want to start planning to get pregnant in a year or so, but my husband won't even listen to me. He's all about "planning" and "being ready", which I know is impossible. He wants to wait about 5 years till we are older. We are both 22. We have been happily married for 2 1/2 years and we both have full time jobs and a house.....everything! He just can't stand when I bring up the "baby" thing. He goes crazy and thinks I'm ridiculous. I'm starting to think this man doesn't want to have children with me, and I know it bothers me more than he wants to believe. He's assured me tons of times that he wants us to have kids in the future....But WAY in the future. He doesn't even like to be around my friends who have kids. What can I do? I love this man, and it seems like most other men are excited about kids and almost want it more than the woman. But my husband is the opposite! HELP!

My husband wants his mother n dad n his siblings to join us for new years.It sour first new yrs since we got married and id like to spend it with him. We live with husbands brother and another sister is moving back in into the house. The house originally belonged to my husband so what do i do? The brother we live with has a gf whos very sweet and comes over alot.I feel like i have no privacy but i dont wanna say anything that will make my husband think i am attacking his brother.I dont mind the brother, id just like some privacy. Now another bro is wanting to move back in, im left wondering if my husband really wonders how all this makes me feel. Its his family, and i respect them.But we even have to make love silently cause i dont wanna let go and have brother in next room here us.Then New year and Christmas he wants his parents n sibli to join us in Seattle. Parents are sweet, but my god, is it just me being selfish or what? I want to spend my first holidays as man n wife with my hub

My ex husbands girlfriend of over a year, calls me everytime they fight. He calls me too, and wants to hook up, he has my kids and uses them as pawns, but I never give in Anymore. (havent for 2 years) My problem is that she calls and cries to me, and I always try to help, cause she is only 18. And i remember how bad break up hurt. ( Im30, he is 28) I have told her to just move on, but she always goes back to him, and then they hate me, and tell my kids horrible things about me. Legally I can't get my kids back right now. They both called me tonight, him, trying to be nice, her, on the other hand, crying telling me I won, everything, I can have him (I do not want him) We are going to court on Friday, for custody, I wont get them its not like that, its just review cause I have been in trouble, the question is, is it insane that they keep calling me./ Her specifically? I think so. What do I do?

I used to think arranged marriage was a crazy concept. I mean, who would want to marry and spend their life with someone they dont even love? But then again, why do we as Americans think our concept of marriage is better? We do have a 50%+ divorce rate...So what do you all think about this topic?

My girlfriend came up to me like she always does for a hug. When I wasn't expecting it she kneed me right in the nuts. While I was on the ground she just stood their laughing. She started saying sorry but while still giggling. When i was finally able, I got up. She said "aww come here" in the sypathetic way girls do, and tried to grab my hand to help me up and I just slapped it away and left and said **** you. I didnt do anything to her

I have been married for 5 years and recently my husband has been lying regarding money and his spending. For example: he never told me he played poker one day after work and lost $30, another occassion he borrowed money from his boss and then that screwed us later casue he had to pay it back, but I didn't find out till he had to pay it back. We have a toddler and I only work part time so we need all the money we can get. What would you think?

It's really sad that now days ppl being unfaithful is more common and accepted than being in a faithful realtionship. I've been married to my Soul Mate for over 12 years and ppl think I'm crazy to trust my husband and belive that he's faithful to me. I'm in no way nieve, blind or ignorant and in fact he is in the Army and Currently deployed to Iraq/Kuwait for the 5th time and I trust him and belive that he's not gonna cheat nor has he and all the other spouses and GF think that I'm crazy. I feel like there's no one in the world that I could imagine being with other than my husband, why is it so hard to believe that he can feel the same about me?? I don't remember my parents or their friends going through this, when did things change and why.
