you could tell them but they probably still won't believe it cause he has them duped just like he had you duped before...you've wised up and that is more valuable than anything. why do you think he's with a younger woman...because of her beauty or intelligence...NO he's with her cause she's immature and he can control her just like he did you for so many years...be thankful he's pulling his tricks on someone else for a change...now so far as revenge....the best, absolute best revenge will be for you to live a good, prosperous and happy life...and now that the dead weight of your ex is removed from your neck you can.....
oh, to answer your question 'When does turning the other cheek stop being dignified and start being just a doormat?'....dignity stops right after you turn the second cheek....healing and regaining that dignity returns when you realize that and are no longer a door mat but a force to be reckoned with....you've done enough suffering...now live !

Turning the other cheek stopped being dignified the first time it happened. In otherwords you have been treated like a doormat the entire relationship.
But I can relate....my ex was a creep himself, however I could only wish he had taken off with someone 20 years younger. He too managed to get me to stay in a relationship for 12 years even after it was over years before that. He is a deadbeat he lived off me for years and even stole from the family...he robbed his children of their home, as we lost it due to his lack of financial support to the family.
You have to stop protecting him otherwise when he gets tired of this girl he will come crawling back. My advice to you is to move forward with your life, find a nice, caring loving man to share it with and expose this guy for the jerk he really is, people won't think he's so great once they hear the real truth.
Good luck !

Oooh - the temptation must be intense to let everyone know what's going on, but.... No! Oops! Bad move! Yikes!
See, here's the thing - it'll reflect badly on you. The information will come out eventually, and people will figure out what a louse your ex is, but if the info comes from YOU - it'll be "oh, she's just bitter because he's with a younger woman."
Sad, but true. Meantime, you get on with your life, so what the Pig does recedes into your rear view mirror until it's a distant memory. You hold your head up, because after all, you survived the Pig and his evil works, and move on.
And when his character (or lack thereof) becomes commonly known, you nod wisely. Maybe even say, "Yes, he was always difficult." And you go off to whatever interesting thing you have going to look forward to (since you've had all this time to build that life you want for yourself) with a smile on your face. Good luck!

it is excellent to avert people who're meanie heads. in the event that they strike you, you would be extra perfect off calling the police . that's what maximum persons do these days. In those situations, Roman infantrymen might ask you to do something and in case you probably did not obey, they might kill you softly with their sword. I hardly turn the different cheek continuously. I I in simple terms cover while those human beings take place. you are able to not permit human beings income on you or it is going to take in too lots of it sluggish. it is uncomplicated experience. The early Christians concealed in caves to avert persecution. This became not turning the different cheek. It became hiding.

You know, you are the one who took the pig back. You are the one who let the pig back into your house so he could take your money. You now act like a victim, but you are 50% of this situation so own it and move on.

**feel for ya... your wording of your question was the best I've seen today, wish I had an answer for all of us that has lived it.
Chances are; he'll get his turn at how you feel now. What goes around; comes around. (Tell or keep quiet, it'll come out eventually, anyway)

You will only succeed in making yourself look like the bad guy... give him enough rope and he will hang himself.
As far as being dignified and starting to be a doormat...
First time shame on me, second time shame on you, I d say there shouldnt be a third time.
Good luck to you

Too late to tell them anything, you turned the other cheek one too many times, hopefully you are not part of the problem. Just let him go for good and move on.

What difference would it make?
You should have taken action when you were together.
That would have looked strong, like you had some self respect.
Doing it now just looks pathetic and spiteful. As if you were just a jealous b%tch.
It reduces YOU instead of him.
I say don't do it.

He's 'run' off. Does that mean you are still married?
Get a good lawyer.
If you signed the papers already, then write a book about it. Or a blog.
