Marriage & Divorce - 5 October 2006

My boyfriend and I have been together for 7.5 years. We split up for 2 weeks, where I did not see anyone else. We also plit up for about 1.5 months, where I did date someone else. We have been back together now for 3 months now. We have 2 children together. I work full-time and go to school full time. He:

>monitors my pc
>accuses me of things I have not done
>fights with me in front of the kids
>calls me a w**** at least twice a week
>tells me I am selfish for going to school
>traps me in the house when we are arguing, refuses to let me out
>throws food and liquids on me
>makes me call him from work (to prove I am there)
>won't give me money (even mine)
>gives me 50.00 a week to buy groceries for a family of four
>has been violent with me when I was pregnant
>told me I was lazy after I miscarried

..because I don't think this is normal. He is crazy if you ask me. Before our last seperation, I have never given him any reason to act like this. I am faithful.

Why does a person stand in front of God and family to take vows for life and suddenly one day just say "Okay, I'm through"? If abuse is involved I can see it.

today i had a serious conversation with my friend. asked him if it was cool for both of us to forget what we have said to each other,and everything we wanted for eachother.we both espressed how we feel about not being able to be with eachother.and we both been hurting for that.he asked me what i thought was gonna make me feel better.my answer to that is be with him,but cant.so i just told him the only option i have i dont want to put it into action. i have never been lucky,in this matter. now i found someone who makes me feel special,loved,apreciated.i do the same for him.we only been intimate once and it was spontanious.we didnt planed it, we just couldnt take anymore. what we feel for eachother is hurting us both.i cant stop thinking about him is involuntary.especially when he reminds me all the time that he loves me on text mesages.the problem is we are both unhapilly married.i am married to a husband that changed the scond i said i do.and him to an alcoholic.

My wife and I have been together for almost two years. Just 3 days ago she told me that her ex came over while I was out of town and spent the night for two days in a row. She makes it seem that just because she told me, it makes it better. She told me they kissed as well. I know that some may think it was a harmless night over, but she had cheated on me with this ex at the beginning of our relationship and I walked in on them kissing just two months ago. I love her too much, and I'm willing to make this work. It's just that every time she does something like this, the trust goes more and more.

i know it's strage. but i wish if ever get married that i will have a simple marriage cermony. no wedding, not too much music, food, and drink..etc. just like when someone want to have a boyfriend or a girlfriend. not too much of a long way process and complicated material, such as buying an expesive ring, dress, wedding expeses, long way prapare for wedding day....etc

W told me everything about his affair during the time we've been apart in different countries.He never asks about divorce because of it,but if I can't accept the truth and keep fighting for it,he says that it's better to let him go.He says he loves me as same as before.As long as I can forgive him,he will love me more because of my mercy and forgiveness.I realize the logic,but it's actually hard not to think of the scenes that he's kissed by other girl.Does anyone have the same situation before?Tell me, what should I do?Some philosophers say wise men don't ask about the past,but how can we do for the future?

My SO and I plan on getting married , just a bit later on (we decided at least a year after we met) , We were both fine and dandy. We are very happy togather as we are. No Rush of any kind. Then He breaks it to his ma that i am preg (6 months at the time , not his was preg before we met , exsplained it to her that it wasn't his). I like his family a lot , they are nice , alwyas have been to me so far. Later that niht she calls and scolding my SO , and starts demanding to know our INTENTIONS , saying that joining te family is a commitment and that once you ae accepted , there is no going back. I seemed alil confused , she was telling us that she wanted us to get married right away , my SO says that is she has it her way we will be married before the baby is born.
I found it odd and rather upsetting to have this woman whom i respect dog my SO , NOT ME , and start acting as if we MUST HAVE A SET DATE. I dont know what to think. What do you think ?
