I have been married for about 6 months and I feel as if the relationship has slowly went downhill. I don't know how to tell him that I want the excitement and life back that we had together before we got married without making him mad.

It may not be so easy to achieve the goal you are after, as that early excitement is very strong and very hard to sustain. One must remember that a lot ofthe early excitement is chemical in nature, and happens so that a strong bond is formed between you and your hubby.

This excitement and euphoria naturllay slows down and is progressively replaced by a deeper sense of love and respect as the years roll by.

Some people so miss this early excitement that they hop from one marriage and/or relationship to the next in the hope of finding the perfect partner where the initial excitement will be sustained for as long as they live. I would say most, if not all, get disappointed.

I am not saying that this is what happened to you, but I feel it would be wise to know a bit ofthe chemistry involved in relationships, so that your expectations will not be unnattainably high.

On the other hand, we guys normally love it when our girl comes on to us. We love it when we feel wanted and chased, as often, we have to do all the chasing, so I would say, give it a try and show him that you need him in sexy and provocative ways. Set the mood, experiment with role playing if it takes your fancy. Be more adventerous and see what you both like. Fantasy takes a big part in this.

Make sure that your commitment to each other is stronger then your requirement for sexual gratification if you want your relationship to last.

Good luck and go for it :)

You know that you do get a stage of the honeymoon is over! In any marriage its hard to keep up with a lot of excitement ! When you have to work ect you get tired and would like a mate that is there with you to unwind. You might want to try to settle down a bit sounds like you might be a little to much into the single life still .

okay, excitement sexually or like going hiking?

first i'll start with sexually- get a piece of lined paper, tear off six strips and write down six differant things you'd like to do, like have sex on the deck at 3 am, or do it in the laundry room while you wear tennis shoes, or on the hood of the car in the garage, if you have an SUV, you can do it in the back of that, with the seats folded down for room, at 3 am. fold these pieces of paper up and put them in a bowl or something, when your hubby comes home, be ready with the bowl, totally naked but a tie tied, and high heal shoes, and let him pick one!

Second the adventure- research the area you live and all the differant kind of tourist things within a 3 to5 hour drive that you could go do. My hubby took me to the Gila National Forrest so we could hike, see the Gila Cliff Dwelling and bathe in the Gila Hot Springs. took us 5 hours of the scenic route.
GOOD LUCK and HAVE FUN!!!

It really doesn't matter whether it makes him mad or not. You deserve to be happy. Talk to him about it. Perhaps he is feeling the same way and doensn't know how to tell you. Communication is a big key in any marriage. Without it, you two will drift apart.
Good luck.

Don't tell him, just do it. Use your imagination. He would love it if you did something crazy like take a ride in the car with nothing on under your coat. That would definitely get my attention.

Don't tell him seduce him. Create imaginative ideas to bring more romance into your life as it is a state of mind, and involves playfulness and creativity. Actions speak louder than words.

Sit down with your spouse and tell him what you have told us. Sometimes you get into a routine and before you know it, things which were so pleasant and of the past gets lost so easily.

Don't tell him. Show him!!! Guide him. I'm a male of the species. Well established in middle age. We men are stupid until we're middle aged (or so I'm convinced). Overall, we just don't get it. That's why I say show him! If you tell him, he'll probably resist.
