You need to seek medical help. Depression can be and is a serious illness. There are medications that can help. I battled depression about 9 years ago after the death of my son and I tried to get thru it myself, mainly because I thought my getting help would be a sign of weakness because everyone around me kept telling me how strong I was. I went for about 1 1/2 yrs trying to deal with things on my own before I sought help from my doctor. I suffered mentally and physically and my children suffered also because I couldn't take of myself let alone them. Once I got the help I needed I was able to function again and be a real mother again. I now look forward to life again. Taking the first step can be hard, but in the long run you won't regret it. Take care of yourself and Good Luck to you.

You feel depressed because you are giving yourself a lot of pressure. Why you don't want to live? Do you know that there are a lot of people dying of sickness and they pray for long life? Some people in pain because of their sickness. Compare with your pain, you are not that suffering as them. When you have the life, why make yourself suffer? To be happy, sometimes just look at the bright side, change whatever you able to change, do not think of the past and try to help those unfortunate people who really need help. Life is precious........

In the morning when you get up - go take a long hot shower. Do your hair (makeup if your a girl) and get dressed in something comfortable but nice.
Then force yourself to get in your car and go to the store. Your favorite store - or a few of them. Take yourself out to lunch at your favorite place. Then go to the video store and rent a bunch of your favorite old comedies. Take the movies home and invite one of your funnest best friends over to watch them with you. Have some drinks and pop some popcorn and forget all about what ever is bothering you. You need a vacation from your suffering. Then the next day write down 5 small little things you can do to improve your situation that is bothering you...Or 5 little things you have been putting off that have been bothering you. Go to your local library and look at all the books on tape/cd. Look at the non-fiction stuff and you might find something inspirational that might help you get out of your funky bad mood...

These are all things I have done for myself when I am depressed and they do seem to help alot. Give it a try. I hope you feel better. I don't know what is wrong - but I hope things get better for you and you hang in there. God bless you.

It's so sad that you have to feel that way. You need a good friend that you can talk to, if this is just a passing thing. I have these days sometimes, but thinking of my children, and what they would be without me, is what keeps me going. Think of your kids or something that normally makes you happy, and maybe that will help. Confide in a friend that you can trust, spill your heart.
But if that doesn't work, then try counseling, there's nothing wrong with that either. Hope you have a brighter day tomorrow. You know my address.

You need to tell someone NOW. I know you've put it out there in your question just now maybe to test the waters?...See what kind of reaction you would get in "real life"?

Not living is not the answer.

Depression is horrible and hurts everywhere.

Get yourself to a medical professional. They are not there to judge you. They are there to help you. They have a job b/c you are not alone in your struggle. Take the step and get some help. You will not regret it.

I will pray for you.

See a therapist. I went on like this, not telling anyone for months. Then when I attempted suicide, everyone was shocked. Do NOT let it go that far. I was lucky, and I lived, I still have heath issues (my liver because of the amount of Tylenol I took to overdose) but I still have nightmares of the hospital and the loony bin...you dont want to go there, trust me. Reach out to someone you love and trust. They will know what to do. You have to let someone take care of you, for a change. I will never forgive myself for trying to take my own life, i scared my parents and pissed off my friend, because I told no one. DO NOT LET IT GO THAT FAR!!! You HAVE to tell someone, because you cannot understand or even comprehend that suicide is a PERMANENT solution to a TEMPORARY problem. You will never be happy if you take your own life. It may not seem like it, but things will look up. I promise. Please, take care of yourself. I dont know you, personally, but I care about your well-being, you dont deserve to feel like this, no one does...your in my thoughtsand paryers, xoxo

People get depressed because they worry too much about things that happened in their lives which make them feel frustrated and disappointed . One time, I also suffered severe depression but God is my help as I entrusted to Him all my fears and frustrations, then peace just came into my heart. and as you step out in faith, the Lord will heal you. As you turn your eyes upon Jesus, He is going to change your sorrows into joy. He is going to revive your soul as He implants new hope in you, You will be able to see that life is still worth living.
If God did it for me, surely He can do it for you.

You need to connect with somebody who will take the time to care about you and listen to your pain right now. You're welcome to email me. Maybe I could even talk to you and show you that all is not hopeless. I understand emotional pain and rejection, and I will not take advantage of you, whoever you are. Please don't be ashamed, and don't try to stop the tears.
