Marriage & Divorce - 1 October 2006

have been married for over three years, the relationship is more like a brother / sister, no physical relationship, when i ask about possible counsuling, just get silence or subject changes, she sleeps in serperate room, has seperate checking, contributes nothing to joint checking account, just feel like i'm being used, dont know how to approach her for real conversation. any ideas ??

My husband and I have been married for almost three years now. We dated over 3 years before we got married. Since weve been married, he has gotten lazy and comfortable. He has even told me he is comfortable bc he knows I wont leave. He doesnt listen to a word I say, he doesnt help out around the house, he wont even take me out anymore. In two years we have been out twice! When I bring these things up, he just gets mad at me. He says I just want a roommate, and not a marriage.In my opinion, that is part of a marriage. I wont confide in him anymore about anything, bc he doesnt listen anyway. We have been throu marriage counsling, Ive threatened to leave, hes been thru anger management, and its all still the same. Now Im finding bc of all this, I dont think Im in love with him anymore. How many chances do I give him? How long do I stick around to hope he might change? Is this just the way marriage is, and I should just get over it? I feel like there is something more..HELP!!!

I was together with this woman for 8.5 years,lived together for 8 years and married for 5.5 years.We are now separated for almost 2 years.But I cant let go of her.We have a son of almost 4 years.After we separated,I moved away to another country but I used to come at least once in a month to visit my kid.During this period,I found out that I still love this woman.I dicussed this with her but she didn't want me back.
After 11 months living away,I moved back to the country thinking maybe I can win her heart back.But I came back to find out that she is already seeing another man.(But we are still officially married).Now,the divorce process will commence in about 3 months time and it is going to last for about another 3 months more.I realised that once the divorce process starts, I do like to more on with my life also.But my biggest is how to leave my child behind with this woman living with another man.After the divorce,I dont like seeing more of this woman.How do I cope with this?

Yes, his wife is an attorney who loves to play mind games. He told her to do her job and get there divorce papers written up. She did and they both signed them. I have access to court records in the state we live in and no divorce has been filed in either one of their names. This was supposed to have happend at the first of this year. I hate to tell him I have been nosey and looked this up, but at the same time I think he needs to know his wife did not accually file the papers with the court. He thinks he is free and clear date other people now. What should I do here???

I am married for a year and I am trying my best to make us happy.
But when I tried to do different things he discouraged me like oh leave it or someother time...........I just hated to sit with him board doing nothing. How could I teach him to create somthing nice ?

Are you divorced? And if he marries again?
I know someone - a staunch Catholic - who left her husband but doesn't believe in divorce, even though she is living with the father of her three children. Her former husband wanted to remarry, so he forged her signature and is now married to his new wife. She doesn't care so has never pursued it. Is this one of those times when it's best to let sleeping dogs lie? I can't help but wonder what will happen if the original husband dies and leaves a will leaving everything to his "wife"?

My husband and I have been together for 6 years as a BF & GF and we get married 1 years ago. He use to be more consious about him i mean his cleanness, style and everything. Now unless he went out with his friends or somewhere he is leaving in another country for work so he doesn't work. So he stops taking a shower everyday, his car is dirty and so on. I cant stand people that have to cheat on the person they are with. I'm 47 & my husband is 59. Our 2 yr anniversary was this past friday. On that day, both of us lost our jobs due to the job being deleted (we work in different places & we weren't fired). I know there's a ton of other jobs out there & I have put my resume in everywhere since friday already so I should have something by the end of this week I would think. Now comes the problem. My husband, who's normally affectionate, now refuses to give me any affection & absolutely no sex at all. When I question him about it, he says he's not ill & that he's not mad at me or anything, yet when I tell him I want sex, all he will say is "maybe" or words to that effect. He worked on a farm and there was this one girl he seemed fond of which keeps running through my mind although I don't THINK he would have had time to have an affair. So is he acting this way because he's depressed or does he miss ONLY his job, OR does he miss this other girl ?? He made good friends on the job as well. HELP !

The most painful thing which goes through my mind that my wife would be with some one else after divorce,,,,,I dont know if this is jealousy or something but its really bothering me and then there more importantly MY SON,
