I hate being tickled, how do I make my husband understand this? I'm really not comfortable being touched other than just a hug, I've been working on making myself endure other "marital" touching (I don't like that either, it's very unpleasant/uncomfortable, but force myself to do it to keep him happy), but when he tickles me it just ruins my ability to trust that my body is safe with him at all. I was misused as a child, and he knows this. I've told him before that I don't like being tickled. I thought he understood, but I guess he doesn't.

I love him madly, and I know he loves me, but it's getting to the point where I almost don't want him to touch me at all, because it's so miserable!

How do I deal with this?

I have some friends of mine who are baby daddies. These guys are hard core players and low down dogs who go to the malls with their sons or daughters and get alot of attention from women who have this "feeling" that a man who treats his "daughter" or "son" right will treat "her" right, he would make a great husband. Geez, do these women get fooled all the time. Do you REALLY think that you and this man's child are on the same level of importance? Why do women fall for this old trick. You know what, it doesn't even take a child to catch them, even guys walking around with a puppy can get numbers all because of women who "feel" that if he treats his puppy nice he would treat her nice too. Some guys I know who are baby daddies are really DEAD BEAT dads, but you should see how they pull chicks at the malls and other places. Works like a charm! Thought women would have caught onto that old trick but naaa, not really

Sure, I know marriage and divorce are linked. But isn't it obvious that if you have a marriage question, it will not always be about divorce and vice versa. I think Yahoo should have one catagory for marriage and one catagory for divorce. Just a thought.

Ok so here is the story. About 3 years ago me and my hubby were going threw a hard time and were seperated for about 5 mos. During that time I was talking to one of my really good male friends and was really upset and we kissed. I felt really bad about and stopped talking to that guy. me and my hubby worked things out and were really happy. What I did was eating me up inside so about a mo ago I told my hubby what had happened. The way he reacted you would have thought that I had slept with this other guy. I am now on a constint rollercoaster. He has made me feel like I am a inch tall, and I have never been more depressed in my whole life.

Is there a way for us to be happy together again? He says that he still loves me, and thinks about me when he is at work, but his actions are the exact oppisite.

So I guess I'm asking do you all think we can make it threw this or should I cut my losses and move on?

I've been always sensitive and now Im pregnant and its worst I cry for everything, my husband gets mad over stupid things like me asking him to buy me something when he comes from work he says im home the whole day and could buy it myself, I understant that but he talks down to me and makes me feel really bad and then just forget about it and expects me to forget his mean words, I dont talk about it and stay mad, it bothers me that he doesnt apologize and just tries to talk to me like everything is fine when its not.

i mean what is the difference between the thinking of a growing gal and a woman?why they (both the gal and woman) do not realize the one who is loving her truly?or, if they are understaning the same why they refuse to accept?are they afraid of social persons or they just want to make fun with that guy or they used to read the person in their life?i know it is the good thing..but i felt that if they have been in luv with some guy from a very long time and when they just realize for a moment that that guy is not going to marry her why they choose the another way or a another guy while the first haven't say he is not going to marry her?what's this rubbish?why don't they realize?so i m hoping for some better answer....thanks.

This came up in a conversation at work....

If you were separated from your spouse and living with someone else, would you go home if you found out the spouse had a disease? Would you feel obligated to take care of them and the children? Would you dump the live-in?

Situation-- My hubby is no longer interested in having sex with me and has started to buy me gifts. (unusual) He is always at work or at home. I know cause we share a car, and I do deliveries where he works. Could he still find time somehow? It really seems unlikely, but something is not right! He is 35, lost his libido maybe? I am 29 and in my peak so it sucks bad for me.

If not, why not tell him, in very explicit language ? You might be surprised at the results.

I ask a lot of the same question where I just flip the genders to see what difference there is in the responses I get. When asking about one spouse having to control the other spouse's spending by giving them their own account and nothing more, I got these greatly different tones depending on whom was controlling whom.
Why is a man taking control a dictator and a woman taking control has a childish man?
