For what household expenses or personal stuff?
I just read something about a guy who was limiting how much his wife spent on household expenses.
Show him how much things cost. If you run out, don't buy the milk and bread and see how he likes it.
Does he have the money to give you more? Just ask for it. Otherwise leave him.

OK Josephine number 1...go buy Five yards of rope a bag of nails a pair of black lace stockings some red lipstick and a quart of ten year old Kentucky Bourbon . Take the rope tie him to the kitchen table after promising him he will love this , once secured pour the bourbon down his throat and let him be for 15 minutes when you return strip him from the waist down put the stockings on him and lipstick take a dozen shots of him and post them on a web site . after he has come to tell him he was just fantastic and that you cant wait to do this again . TWO DAYS LATER . ask for an increase in your allowance if he says no way show him the pics and ask if he thinks his family and work mates would pay you not to announce the pictures location to the world .
2 just bat your eye brows and ask nice ( but remember number 1 is always there to use baaaaahhaaaaa

Just be honest n talk to him nicely n when he says he cant, dont sulk just say when n whatever he gets u'll appreciate n i dont get why people r fussing over u getting an allowance from ur hubby its ok 4 a real man 2 look after his dear wife.
I work but my hubby still gives me some money.

The only people that should be on an "allowance" under the age of 16. You really need to get off your butt and a get a job.

If he can afford it, just say you want a larger allowance so you can save it for rainy days.

1. On payday, he gives you the check.
2. You give HIM an allowance.

feed him rice and beans every night, (beans are high in protein)tell him that do to the holiday's coming up, you don't have enough money, and your trying to economize. good luck
