Ever since I have been married to my hubby I have always been indirectly put down by his mum & sis, funny thing is that they have never really complimented me and seem so absorbed about how beautiful and intelligent other members in there family are. I am a tv model and am doing a phd so frankly I do not need their praise, but its kinda strange coz if I saw anyone who had achieved what I had it would be so hard not to compliment them and wish all the best. I am not one to be arrogant either since I really like my hubby's bro's wife who is a house wife and had a baby boy really young, I like her caring nature. However in a way I sometimes envy the love and attention that she receives from my in laws. My hubby's sis put her bday pics on facebook, none with myself present but most with the other sis in law present.

Recently, just today anyway, I watched my favorite episode of Barney again from when I was little. I really liked it. The first song was the "I'm Bringing Home A Baby Bumblebee" song with one of the kids in a bumblebee costume.

Now, most likely to girls (I think anyways), if, when you were younger, you could have worn a bumblebee costume and been the bumblebe and performed the song "I'm Bringing Home A Baby Bumblebee" with a group of kids, would you?

You would have won at the end and stung the kids twice by the way. This is what happened in the Barney episode.

Also, how do you think the writers came up with that idea for the Barney episode?

I'm an idiot and just plain dumb. Honestly, I'm in engineering it was my first year and we just finished the term in University. And I'm going to break down. All my exams are over but I don't know. I have a feeling I did really bad. From December 1st thru December 17th I studied stright non-stop for exams. I sacrificed food, money, friends, family, everything man just for getting good marks in exams. Either I'm stupid or just an idiot. I have a bad feeling I may need to repeat the term. My parents are so proud of me that I'm living on my own and studying engineering but at the same time I eel like I'm going to let them down. When I got accepted to this University (best in engineering in canada) everyone were suprised. I had friends who told me I won't make it but I did. But now I feel like there right. even though I made it I don't think I'm going to make thru first year. I mean my bro look upto me soo much and if I fail and have to repeat, I loose respect from everyone.

For about the last 4 years, my sister stopped writing the word, "love" before her name on the bday and christmas cards she sends. She did the same for the wedding card she sent this year too. Nothing has happened between us to warrant this change. We see each other maybe once a year, and I did ask her about it, and she avoided answering the question. It hurts my feelings, and i just can't figure out why she decided to do this. Should I stop writing "love" on my cards to her as well?

im due with a lil girl in about 4 weeks. The father and I split up about a month ago he kicked me out. He was running around with underage girls and drinking and blowing all our savings. Saying that I was unfaithfull and that the baby was not his. Now he is wanting to work things out. I want to for the baby sake and I still love him but alot has happend to make me not trust him. What should I do?

i am 20 yrs old n i have a 16 yrs old sister she have been a pain in my azz lol she has fights all the time in school she has been cuttin school lately, i talk to her soooo manys times.she was a good student,her bestfriend be gettin in to fights so knowin that my sister is goin to get in 4 her pplz....the school call mi everyday sayin ur sister got to a fight but let mi tell u she is a very pertty girl alot of girls in her school want to be lik her im not makin this up everywhere i go everybody looks at her

i'm 23 and my mum still gives me a curfue at night.i have a bf who is not the same religion as me and when i want to see him it can only be during the day. my mum doesnt like him coz of the religion thing. its been 1yr & 5months and i cant enjoy my night life. if i go out at night my curfue is 7pm!people tell her if she meets him then she will loosen up and give me my freedom but she doesnt want to!someone please help!i cant live like this.i cant even move out coz she will die...literally!

Why do people say this if you are going to get your GED, go to a communtiy college, and then later transfer to larger university? This is what I am doing and am going to be a teacher. I have no friends, and dont care to go to a graduation, or reuinions etc. Also why do people say that you cant do as much with a GED? if you can get a GED and become a teacher of a highschool isnt anything possible!

Its like 6 hours drive, lots of drama in the famliy right now. I just want to stay at home with my family, chill, relax, play my new wii and not fool with all the stupidity. Not to mention the money to save on gas and eating out. Is this selfish of me?

I am remarried, and have 3 sons from my first marriage. My new husband has 1 son from his first marrage. (all boys) We get along great. I had a Christmas party yesterday, and she brought 4 gift cards for the boys. Should I confront her after I have now found out that she secretly sent her "blood" grandson more gifts in the mail to his Mom's house. His son is 12 years old. Mine are 11.17.20. We've been together 2 1/2 years. Should I talk with my husband first? Should I do nothing?

was a kid--mostly callous remarks and put-downs, or making fun of me. No parent is perfect, and I love her, but when I'm around her, I feel crazy inside, like I just hate myself. She might be verbally abusive, but I don't know if she's really that bad, or if I'm just a bad daughter (I'm 40). I need some objective opinions about what to do. She won't change--I know that.

he makes me soo miserable! i can't stand him at all and he NEVER understands me. So recently i moved to another city and left everyone back and my one chance to go back to visit my hometown for winterbreak, he is going to try and ruin it. He starts to come in my room and yells at me for how unresponsible i am and then i just scream at him back for not being a caring father, then he starts to curse at me and has this smartass attitude like me knows everything about me but he doesn't. Then he says i can't hang out with my friends just because they are not very "rich" or perfect like he wants them to be. He is an alcoholic and i planned with my sister to just leave him and not come back to the house for a while because he is starting to make my life living hell. My mom is gone to missouri taking care fo her sick parents so i never get to see the person who really understands me. What should i do? Is that a good idea to leave?

Please read this all before you say "stay in school". I'm 18, I've been with my girlfriend for 3 years. The first year was normal, and then she moved to Missouri (I'm in KY). We have been dating long distance since then, and see eachother about once a month. I am moving to Missouri after I graduate; if I graduate. I want to be a high school teacher. Currently my grades are a 37% and a 62% (I only have 2 classes because the rest of the day I'm working). I've had a 3.5 GPA the rest of high school. The main reasons I want to move are because I am suffering from anxiety and depression. This is because (1) my girlfriend is so far away, and (2) My father has puched me in the face and thrown me down on the ground until my brother and mother pull him off. He yells at me all the time saying I'll never be anything, I'm worthless, ugly, etc. All of this has happened multiple times, and I'm seeing a psychiatrist. Also, I have no friends at my school, but I do have 1 friend that lives here. My parents aren't going to help me with college, and because of my dad my grades are slipping away no matter how hard I try. Anyway, here's the deal: If I drop out I can move in with my girlfriends family for free. They will loan me money for a car which my parents wouldn't. Also, I wont be so alone. I wont have to deal with the abuse from my dad. I can get off my meds from the psychiatrist. I already have a job if I moved there. I'll get a GED. I'll go to a community college for 2 years, then transfer to a state University and finish getting a teaching degree. When I become a teacher I will be able to relate to kids, especially those dealing with abuse. I know people say dropping out its "stupid" but if I don't I will be stuck here, alone for the rest of this year, still dealing with the abuse. My grades will continue to slip and I may not graduate at all. Then I'll have to get a GED anyway. So, what are your oppinions on this?

we had an idea to move to a foreign country to live with my husband and children, im a mother having 5 boys ages: 29/27/25/18/13 years old, we stayed here one year but now we feel its too difficult and no socializing here and i got no friends,so i thought that we go back to my home country with my two childrens: 18/13 as usual and live there,my husband can visit me everywhile and my big boys,so i was thinking do i stay here with them and help my family in the house like: cooking/washing/cleaning and cancel my life which i had it in my home country or i get back to my country and think about myself also? please advise im really confused..thanks!

I have a problem. I finished my second term of school last thursday, and am now off for three weeks. I'm almost 15 (my birthday is in three months) but my dad still insists on giving me a bedtime. Does anyone have any valid points i can argue to my dad about letting me stay up later? I don't want to come across as the clichéd "snotty teenager" here, and I don't think the "I'm almost 15" arguement would go over very well. I would greatly appreciate any help. Thanks.
