okay...heres my problem my boyfriend is getting out of jail on weds...and he has no place to live or anything...now i wanted to get the number for social services and see if they can help him any..does anyone know anything about that???

will social services help him with a place to stay if he has no place to go after he gets out of jail on weds..?? and if so what number will he have to call to get help from them?

They don't do that. He can get help with food and things like that till he has a job. But he may have to go to a homeless shelter if no one in his family, or friends won't take him in.

Some cities/states have a halfway program to help inmates graduate to the outside. He needs to check into this. They will probably give him a pamphlet when he leaves.
If he is on parole, he can ask the parole officer.
There is a possibility that he can stay with a friend for a few weeks, as well.

No, but u aint making it clear, what kind of social services for a man out of jail thats more of the state.

He can go to a shelter until he finds a job.
