give her a gift certificate good for some of your TIME... take her to lunch or a movie or both... giving her an afternoon together might be nice.

i would give her a gift certificate and a promise to take her out to use it after Christmas. The best present you can give a grandmother is your time. If you don't have much to spend at Christmas then make her something and spend the evening with her.

I bought some for my granny when she turned 75.
She said it was a very thoughtful gift.

chocolate, a b-day card, her fave flowers, something homemade...none of that mainstream stuff. like, maybe a homemade picture frame.
