If she is fighting alot, then she must be feeling alot of anger and frustration. It's good that you are talking to her alot. But try to isolate the problems that she is facing. Work with her as a sister, a friend and a mentor to conquer each problem. Tell her the consequences of her actions both short term and long term. Try not to sound judgmental or mad at her. What you're doing already is great and she's lucky to have a sister like you to care for her. Keep it up. Be patient and things will turn around.

You are 20 and should be working hard on your own stuff. Your sister is 16, and still the responsibility of your parents. I am the oldest sibling, and it is hard to let them make their own mistakes, but think back: when you were 16, did you take all the advice you were given? And the school should NOT be contacting you unless you are the legal guardian.

If that is the case, all previous comments are retracted :o)

When she is ready, your sister will talk to you.
She is just going through a rough patch.

Your parents are responsible for your sister's actions, not you.

Leave it to your parents.

Lol you can't do nothing about it. She can only fix herself if she wants to try or not.
