Just do what you have to do until you are able to get out on your own. Get a job, see if you can get a roommate to cut down on the costs of living on your own. You need some space here.

Pay for what you have to in order to make a contribution to your share of living at your parents' home... beyond that, save it for yourself... don't have any cash in the house.. maybe try a savings account...

Set some personal boundaries on the amount of money you spend and you contribute for "rent" or whatever, and make it a rule not to give anyone money because they are frivolous with theirs.

It's nice to help others once in a blue moon, and if it doesn't strap us, but being used is another thing all together.

I know exactly what you mean, but don't do anything drastic just yet. They are your family. They love you and care about you and everyone has financial problems from time to time. That is normal.

Let them know that you love them and you don't mind helping them out, but you have to keep some of your money too.
