Family - June 2007

I'm 13 she's 11. When I touch her stuff I get in freakin so much trouble. When she touches my stuff then she breaks it, my parents say it's ok. How can I stop her? I don't bother yet she starts the arguement and I get in trouble.

My sister in law & I were good friends & sisters. I helped her move 2x's (w/my severe back problems) was there 4 her thru her marriage & ultimate divorce (alot of personal time & counseling - relationship and religious 4 her & husband). She planned a vacation to Florida 4 her son, herself & hubby. she moved out- needing another person 2 go in his place. We decided 2 send my 11 yo daughter (her son is also 11). I paid her $800.00 4 the ticket/hotel (which I thought was a lot) & I was sending my kid w/$100 spending money & $100 tword food. We took her son on vacation 2 years ago 4 free. She told me the night b4 they left that she would need $300 4 food I was shocked but sent the $. The day after she told my kid they may need 2 use some of the $ I sent her 2 buy trinkets w/4 food. I sent her another 100 instead. My kid was treated like a 3rd wheel & heard her talking about me saying I'm cheap. I am totally pissed & don't know what 2 do. I feel robbed & like I want nothing to do w/her

im 17 and my parents are soooo controlling nowadays!! i mean i do my house chores, get good grades and i feel i behave like im supposed to. but my parents want me to join a sport but im not a sporty person by nature but i lift weights and i like to work out. My mom made me feel soo guilty that i didnt join a sport because i said i wasnt going to do something just to please her because i was ultimatly going to be the one going to the practices and this year its going to be hard since im volunteering at a daycare nearby. And my mom said "god forbid you do anything to please us" and they think they can control who i marry i mean its ME getting married, not them! what do i do?? im a senior this fall so i can wait to get accepted to college and dorm there but how do i talk to them about their control issues?

I don't think I can take much more of this .

I can't stay here anymore... I need to leave as soon as possible. I don't think i am going to be able to tak college classes. I won't be able to pay for that and a place of my own. If she gets worse I'll leave hs and get my diploma later.. But for now I have to try and get my H S D

My daughter recently made her First Communion. Because over 100 children were making their First Communion together, each family was given 6 tickets to sit in the church. Any other family and friends had to sit in the hall which is open to the church and had a huge wall screen set up showing the entire ceremony. My problem is this.. I used 4 of the tickets for myself, husband, daughter and grandmother. This left 2 tickets which I had my in-laws/grandparents use. My father and his wife knew ahead of time that they would be sitting in the hall, but apparently now are very upset because they feel they were left out of the ceremony by me because "I chose" to have my in-laws in the church and not them. What would you have done and what would you say to them? (My father's wife and I do not get along very well...she always seems to have a problem with every social event on this side of the family)

I have a bf that moved in with me he has two children wich i love so so much. He is a very up down person all the time and when i say down i mean down his verbal abuse can cut like a knife.not to mention all the drama with his x.but anyway i am very sad and not happy at all with him .we are in the middle of a custody battle with his x trying to get custody and we do have tempory custody right now..his daughter sees i am sad alot but begsme no to leave her dad.This is killin me i know that i am the closest thing to a good mom she has had ever and he is either playing his game watching tv or sleeping.so i not only work two jobs but still spend more time with the kids than him.I really think he is bi polar but wont go to the docs. to help him even the kids see it.Do i leave and take my losses and break her heart or do i stay for the kids.oh and i have my own children as well but they hate the way he is too.please help say something i need to hear..

I am living with my mom and step-dad because I am a single parent with three little ones and I cant afford to live on my own. I am taking my ex to court to pay more to no avail yet. Well, everytime my kids go to stay with there dad, I look forward to desperately needed relaxation and writing. The thing is thats when my mom goes on a crusade to get me to work on all the things I need to work on. I do need to work on some things but I also need to have some downtime. I am always exhausted from caring for 3 kids and the drama of the court case. AS SOON as the kids leave she has a to do list for me and that in itself stresses me out. Am I being selfish because she seems to think so. How can I better handle this. I am so stressed out I am shaky (theres a million other things going on too).

I am 14 and love Green Day, I like to talk about Billie Joe. My brother and Dad call him gay, and say he old (my father is 48 Billie is 35) they say he dyes his hair because it's easier to cover up bald spots. He's a nerd, and I really like Billie, he's my idol I look up to him, and it's hurtful I admit, I obsess, the reason for that is because I think he's amazing. The things I say are like "Green Day's new album is coming out Billie Joe says they have enough material for 3 records" and they freak. When I start to act silly my Dad tells me to stop being retarted! more than once in a day. I say something like "Dad, I'm just having fun" he tells me to "Stop whining like a baby." I am always the one he blames. And my brother is like his favorite. They are seriously making fun of me. WTF? My Mom tells them to stop, but then it happens again, Grr, I'm so upset. Why do they do this. It's not teasing it, making fun of me

ok 2 start off, im in 7th grade. and my brother is in highschool. a few days ago, he found out i had a bf! i freaked at first cuz i thought he would tell on me. but he promised not 2 tell. then, yesterday, wen i got back from da park with my friend, my dad turned da tv off, and started yelling at me like crazy!! Ok im gay, and me and my mom got into an argument over me being gay ,and SHE IS 2. She told me that i was old enough to choose what I want??? Im gay ,and im 16 now. She was serious. How can i stop feeling like the black sheep of the family??

My sister who lives down south is getting married, me and my other sister are bridesmaids, my other sister who only lives a couple of miles away organised a pre-hen night for tonight and only remembered to invite me after i rang her to discuss the hen night about half an hour ago! of course its too late for me to go now!

Anyone else got family like that, that live with/ or near, but still seem to forget that you exist until you remind them?

I have a two year old son. His father don't want to help me take care of him and he rarely sees him. I gave him an option that he could either (1) visit or pick his son up 2 times a month. I told him that I don't want his money. I just want him to spend time with his son. OR (2) I could go to child support and let them deal with this sitution.He told me to do what you got to do. Mind you he don't have a job and I really dont want to do this. But I've done everything in my power not to go down this road. So now he's mad and want to curse me out and act as if I didn't give him an option. But at this point I feel Like i'm forced. Do you think I'm wrong?

I have told my mom about his multiple times, she always she'll do something, but always fails to take action.

My sister has stolen 130 dollars of mine.
Uses all my perfume.
Has stolen my 25 dollar concealer...

I work hard for every penny I earn, and yet she keeps stealing everything.

HOW DO I GET HER TO STOP?!
