I tell you to enjoy their Grand Children. I had a great time celebrating with my two youngest Grand children this afternoon, took off work early. My Daughter picked me up, and we went to Chuck E. Cheese, it was my Granddaughter's first Birthday.

So, it was my Daughter, her two year old son, and her Daughter, the Birthday girl, who turned one years old today.

I can tell you, I had just as much fun as the two kids, and their Mother. I love my Grandchildren, they mean the whole wide world, to me. I am so bless.

My dad...step dad, freaks out sometimes and gets really mad. he has never hit me before, but he has said some pretty mean things. he calls me all kinds of names: baby, sack of *crap*, loser, f-ing liar, and thats not all. sometimes it seems like he will never calm down. he has thrown things before, but never directly at me. and he always cusses at me for the stupidest reasons. please help me. i want to know if you would consider this emotional abuse. and maybe you could tell me what you think i should do...

Hello everyone. I have bit of a dillema here. My father, who is in his mid-sixties, was diagnosed with cancer last year. To help him, I moved into his house with my husband and 2 daughters aged 12 and 9. However, my 12 year old daughter has just said she has to get out of the house - and prefebebly go back to our own house. She's only able to take a shower once or twice a week, so my father can have one every day, and she says that his constant moaning, complaining about life, wanting to kill himself, and exposing his illness to her is tiring and scaring her. She says that every day, her being quiet and shy, he forces her to listen to this, and also gives her little privacy, even though she has her own room. She and I are too scared to hurt my father, and he doesn't physically hurt or harm her, and I feel I can't leave him. I have little other family here. Should I listen to my daughter and move out, or stay with my father?

Well I was really considering joining the United States Marine Core. Long story short I wanted to join back in HS (4yrs ago) but my parents talk me out of it. Which is good in sense I wanted to join infantry back then with my friends(2 of them past away in 2005). But now my other friends are going and I am having a hard time getting my parents to back me up. They say “people like us don’t go to the military” its mostly because we come from a family with money. But to me serving ones country is more then money its pride and joy. Has anyone had this? Lack ness of support? I know boot camp is really really hard and it makes me second guess myself but I am sure I can make it with my parents support.

Boys in their early teens are very curious about women and sex. I have no son myself but I wonder if living in a family where a boy sometimes sees his mother naked can cause him to get a desire for his mothers body and get excited , or is there no such risk ?
I mean usually they get excited from seeing a naked body but can it happen if it is his mother he is seeing naked ?
Do you know if such problems occurs ?

My 9 year old daughter has a very unstable relationship with her Dad since she was 1 years old. He comes around when he wants, doesnt pay child support, doesnt help with anything. In the last year, his brother died in a car wreck and about 2 months later he got his deceased brothers wife pregnant. She already had a 8month old from the deceased brother. Neither my daughters father or his girlfriend (my daughters aunt) work... they stay at home and sell pot to pay the bills. So now my daugher has a new half sister (that is also her cousin by marriage) and her Dad runs a major grow operation. I know my daughter really loves her Dad and she is always asking about seeing him. She hasnt seen him in almost a year, since I told him she couldnt go to his house on the weekends (cause of the pot). I've offered to let him come over to our house or meet at the park, but he wont. My daughter cries her self to sleep at night over her dad, I dont want to keep her from her dad... what do I do?

My best friend of 15 years her 7 year old son and 9 month old baby all live with me in my home. She recieves help from the goverment to support her children as both fathers are deadbeats ones in prison and the other is on the run. She goes from one relationship to another only to discover she has landed another loser that brings her even more drama then the last. If they turn out to be semi decent then she runs the other way. She is a victim of child abuse and its no secret that she is attracted to those with similar traits as her father. She is a very inteligent beautiful woman and is a graduate with honors. She needs therapy but is just to damn stubborn and bull headed to get help. As a result of the child hood abuse its clear she has a split personality. The last boyfriend she had I got a gut feeling he would eventually cause problems for me so I forbid her to bring him to my home but she did anyways and sure enough problems followed. She now has a new b.f. and red flags going up.

Okay I been married for 3 years to my first husband we have a one child and we want another, BUT he always goes party with his parents on the weekend or helps ppl out when they need help with things, but whenever I ask him for something he says he worked all day and shouldn't have to work at home and I understand, but why do things with other ppl and for other ppl? I'm not asking him to go to Italy or whatever. I'm asking him to spend time with us like going to the park and he doesn't. I have to beg him. But his parents crap on him they only call him when they want something as to where me and his child want to spend time with him as a family b/c we love him. So I don't know what to do. I want another child, but I don't want the same thing to go on. When I was pregnant the first time he wouldn't drink or party. He was good then, but now he's 30 I think he needs to grow up. What does everyone else think? Should I give up or just deal with it?

I am a 14 year old girl and my parents are starting to ground me more often than they spank me. I hate getting grounded. I'd rather get a spanking and get it over with. Sure, it is awkwad, I agree, since I may be a little old to get an over the lap spanking, but, even though it hurts like heck, I'd rather get spanked than get grounded. Am I weird?

I try talking to my mom and she's always rude to me; and then I just get a job and she's all bratty and says "You're gonna' quit", etc. I think that it's completely rude and I hate coming home sometimes. But whenever I wanna talk I forget and then I walk away upset. How can I stop myself from becoming upset if she doesn't give two-sh!ts what I say?

She graduated from high school last May. When she goes to stay a few days with her friends, she will call me and everything is nice. I love you Mom, how are things going, I miss you, and it's perfect. But, when she gets home things are go to shi_. I can ask for her to do something around the house and she may get to it in 2 days. And I get attitude if I ask again. But, if one of her friends call she jumps up and does whatever they need.
Now, she decided tonight she needed to move out. I feel so sad. We got into in again. My oldest daughter helps alot and I don't get no lip out of her. She doesn't have a job and we are restoring her car. I tried to ask how they are going to pay for rent, food and utilities. And I just get attitude.
I did go deliver a kitchen table to the house. I wasn't sure if she would be home or not. I asked and She wasn't sure. We are supposed to go to Oklahoma City this weekend for a company dinner. I couldn't get a answer then for sure either.

My uncle was in a car wreck. It was raining and the car went out of control. In the end he ran into a tree and nobody else was hurt. He wasn't hurt that bad, but he can't move his neck. He also has glass in his skin. The only reason he survived was because he was wearing a seat belt. Ever since the wreck he's always saying I can't believe I was wearing a seat belt. How do I deal with my uncle that is like a father to me who could've died?
