I'm also coming up to a 10 year anniversary of my dad's death, what I do to commemorate the day is to write him a letter about what's happened since he passed and burn it - my mum always said that the flames would take it to him in heaven,so he'd know I was thinking of him.

Wow, sorry approximately your mom. That had to have been extremely annoying for you, besides as questioning approximately it for all of the destiny years. possibly you ought to basically bypass away him to himself and don't push your self on him. possibly you ought to even attend the dinner and kin custom to honor his mom devoid of him. He might have fun with which you probably did that for the period of his place until he's able to connect you all interior the subsequent couple of years. Make him a dinner if that's what you do and bypass away it on the kitchen counter. permit him understand the nighttime earlier which you isn't there interior the domicile for him, yet might like if he joined you all. My husband lost his brother a pair of years in the past and that i understand he gets extremely unhappy on the anniversary. it particularly is as quickly as I dig out the albums and seem at pictures of he and the kin, and we talk approximately him via the day. His spouse constantly makes his popular dishes and he or she and the three little ones he left in the back of take a seat around the table and have fun their father. diverse human beings think of you mustn't point out the call of the deceased yet i think of it helps to speak approximately her or him and save them alive in our hearts.

How about commemorating his life instead of his death? Donate in his name to his favorite charity or yours.
