Can young boys get a desire for their mothers body ?

Question

Boys in their early teens are very curious about women and sex. I have no son myself but I wonder if living in a family where a boy sometimes sees his mother naked can cause him to get a desire for his mothers body and get excited , or is there no such risk ?
I mean usually they get excited from seeing a naked body but can it happen if it is his mother he is seeing naked ?
Do you know if such problems occurs ?

Nahhh... There's nothing wrong with a son getting turned on by his mom. Happens every day. It usually leads to sex but that is common too.

I had an old friend who's step son actually 'touched' her while she was sleeping. He undid her pants! This boy was terribly messed up though, from the divorce of his parents. He had an anger problem and treated women like they were an object. He got this from his father. The kid did'nt 'desire' his step mother, or get excited about her naked. He was just really messed up.
So if the kid in question is what you would call an emotionally healthy one, I would'nt worry one bit. He may be a little curious about any womans body, but the thought of his mothers naked body will soon repulse him.

If such problems occurs then that would be definitelty be a problem.

But why would a mom be walking around maked in front of her naked son.

At the same time I had a patient who's parents are always naked at home and he says he grew up knowing that it was normal and not a big deal.

So I guess it depend on how anyone looks at it.

Let's back up just a tad. The electra complex is the other side of the coin for girls - who love daddy too much and/ or got mixed messages from daddy (and, sometimes, mom) about dad's availability. It gets played out all the time, in the 'dance' of the younger woman who is 'hot' for the older guy. If dad breaks the taboo and incests her; there is profound psychological damage. Just as there is if mother breaks the taboo for the boy. I think of jamie lee curtis in the movie 'bad mother' as the epitome of this wickedness. And the taboo is the attraction !! The lust to break the rules and to defy the taboo is the attraction. I have no idea what goes on in the minds of girls (of whatever age) and their desire for the pizza or pool boy. I suspect they just want to get laid. I doubt that your premise that mom / son porno. has increased is accurate. There are a whole lot of boys who have been 'failed' by mom and "want to lay with her". Porn is a way to play the fantasy out. How did mom fail, you ask? She is supposed to lovingly and gently let the lad know that she is NOT available for him, in that way. However, she was either at work, with the girls, running hither and yon or otherwise distracted and did NOT get the job done. Another form of 'seduction' by the mom is to "keep her all to herself", thus, we have the momma's boy. As it's easy to become accustomed to being taken care of. Of course, there is psychological heck to pay. And he's irredeemably lazy; with lots of woman hatred perking. To the poster, who make the declaration that the Oedipus complex has been proven 'empiracally' to be false. Bull butter, it has not ! A few 'shoddy scientists' have proclaimed that is is false; but Freud took the idea and the name from Greek mythology. And the myth still has numinous power today. At our current level of 'science' it cannot be proven or disproven. Nor should it be; see Newsweek (approximately one year ago) for the article on Freud and some of his ideas. No, emotional attachment does not equate with sexual attraction; in fact, it is the opposite. One doesn't lust for family because they are FAMILY. Unless one is sick or evil.

Well, I was pretty sexually adventurous when I was a teen, but frankly the idea of my mother was the best way to put a chill on any sexy feelings I may have had. My mother was a good-looking woman, no doubt about it, and I personally have no taboos against incest, but really, thinking of my mother was the fastest way to turn my hard on into a soft off!

Boys in their early teens should NOT be seeing their Mother's naked at all! No it is not normal or natural for a boy to be excited by his Mother's body. Usually they are repulsed by it! Mothers and Fathers put out pheromones that are not appealing to their children!

Since you are not a parent, you probably don't realize that its not common for a child to see his parents naked, unless its a very very young child. As a parent and the child of a large family, the answer is no.

a young boy could get excited about anything and seeing his mom naked and having thoughts occur naturally may mess with his mind later.............she should at least wear underwear or a long-shirt.....that's probably okay.

How very Fruedian.... most boys outgrow their Oedipal urges during childhood. Once he gets to his early teens he will just be embarrassed by his mother's body.
