I know it's hard to take care of a person with mental problems, I understand what you might be going through. You have to find out why she is throwing up, it could be several reasons; it might be ulcers (stomach acid), it could be that her body is rejecting a medication, it could be something she eats, or she could be very sick. Take her to see a doctor. She might not want you to, make a doctors appointment and go with her to that appointment, tell the doctor about her vomiting situation. She will be there to hear the consciousness. The doctor will send her to do blood work and do a thorough exam to see what is causing her to vomit. Now, to help her do all of this you have to be there for her and with her in all these tests, because she could have told the doctor about her vomiting problem before, but when she heard the part about doing the tests and stuff, she must have quit. Most importantly she must have been afraid to find out what could be wrong with her. I hope it’s nothing too serious, GOOD LUCK!

There is only so much a person can give.
With a sick person, be it mentally or physically or in terms of health, it will be very damaging to the family members.
She need provide attention by medical people, she will be better taken care of, physically and mentally.
That will only show your love for her well being. You can't help her if you yourself is down, right?

She is mentally sick or physically sick? Or both? You said mentally but she vomits, which might be from a physical condition.
If you judge her to be incapable of taking care of herself then you need to take over and take care of her. Even if she does not want it. Ignore her abuse. If you really cannot handle it, look to relatives for help and support.

That not normal. Whether or not it's a mental or just a medical problem, she appears to be in denial. Is your dad around? You should talk to an adult you can trust. Does your mom have any friends she would listen to? Maybe talk to a school councilor or someone at church.

Sometimes parents can be stubborn. I would try writing her a long and heartfelt letter about how you feel about her being sick and about how it makes you feel when she push you away. If she really loves you, she'll probably get the point. Good luck.

Do for your Mother what she has done for you, she has loved and protected you, so now it is your turn to protect her because you have already stated that you love her. If you feel that she needs some type of intervention, by all means, help your Mother, she would do it for you. God Bless.

If you can't provide her the care she needs, maybe it's time to put her in a nursing home
