My uncle was in a car wreck. It was raining and the car went out of control. In the end he ran into a tree and nobody else was hurt. He wasn't hurt that bad, but he can't move his neck. He also has glass in his skin. The only reason he survived was because he was wearing a seat belt. Ever since the wreck he's always saying I can't believe I was wearing a seat belt. How do I deal with my uncle that is like a father to me who could've died?

you sound a little overwhelmed by the whole incident. there's really nothing to deal with here. i think you've just come to realize that life is short. it can be taken away from you without warning. now you know, don't take life for granted.
glad to hear your uncles okay.

I don't know how well I understand what you're asking, but I'd let him know that you are so glad that he wasn't hurt any worse, and proud of him to have been wearing a seat belt.
