i live in suffolk and he is in london has him every other wkend which the courts had to force him to do that. he has a large family and they didnt even give him one present to open on christmas day. i asked why he said he cant afford it. which i was fumming about. i manage to look after my son with no real maintence money from his dad only when he feels to. would you be angry for your child ie my point of view you know its going to be christmas all year long you could of saved and bought a present even if it only cost £5 or less its the thought not the money. then to top it off his large family didnt get him anything they never do every christmas so every year i start buying early so that he has a good christmas under our tree he has alot but its all from me. i dont have a family so im not sure am i a mug or do i have a right to be annoyed for my son what would you do or say. to get a better view of the situation if you want read previous question

Me and the father of my child have been having major problems with his drinking. At this time we are not living together because of some other problems involving the police. But me and my 10 month old little girl are living with my mom & her b/f. He is living with friends. Last friday he gave me $50.00 for child support. And he is suppose to be paying on bills that he had in my name and ran up while I was living with my mom. But He went out again last friday and spent his whole pay check!!!! I had $50.00 dollars put away that he gave me for bills two weeks earlier he told me not to take it yet because he wanted to put more to it. well monday night he calls me up asking me for the money back because his friends that he is staying with needed for thier lights because they were going to turn them off if they didn't pay something.when he came for it the next day i wouldnt give it to him. He started cussing me said he wasn't gonna help me with anything else. I dont know what 2 say 2 him???

There's this shy attractive, skater punkish boy in my German class. He always seems to watch me, and look in my direction whenever I talk. I've heard he isn't a people person and has bad history with his father. Anyways, so I started to talk to him. We became good aquaintances.

I asked him if I could look at his ipod. He gave me a sheepish smile and I was surprised to see he was listening to Frank Sinatra fly me to the moon. He looks at my breasts a lot though, I mean stares. And if he did happen to like me, would it be for my body?

My soon to be ex husband left me 3 1/2 months pregnant, cheated on me three times during our marriage and then tried to get back together with me and I almost gave in, but then I realized that he did it 3 times of course if I gave in He'd do it to me over and over again without caring about my feelings. I quit talking to him after I started our divorce and he agreed to talk to my mother for my son's info. Because every time I talk to him he just keeps asking me to come back and I keep telling him no, but he doesn't seem to get the picture. Am I a jerk for not putting up with his ****?

my friend has liked the same guy for 3 years. they went out 3 times but it never worked. last year she asked him out again and he said no because it didn't work the other 3 times but despite that she still likes him. they still talk and stuff but i don't know what to do because i want to help. should i tell her to move on or to keep trying. also i like the same guy, which just confuses things even more!

I have been looking for a job for 6 months, and I am getting frustrated. I had only two interviews. My sister is substantially younger than me, and has 3 jobs. My family and I were having dinner together and my dad really upset me. He and I are very close and he always says things to me like, something will come through for you. And, he tells my sister "I AM SO PROUD OF YOU". But, I am starting to question if he really means what he is saying to me. Recently, at the dinner table, in front of countless relatives, he says, I am not worried about Jacqueline (my sister) because she will always have a job. She wants something out of life. I got upset and fired right back. What do you mean? I have been looking high and low for a job. He told me I was too sensitive. Do you think I am overreacting, or were his true feelings exposed without him recognizing it. Please advise, I am very upset.

I am 23 yrs old and when I was drinking with my sis and brother in law, they were giving me weird looks all the time. At one point by bro in law even said that you might have to take a day off tomorrow if you drink this whole glass. My entire family ( including him) knows that I do drink and a glass with heavy food is not enough to make me drunk. He asked me whether I know what it had and I said yes I know it has alcohol in it. Also he asked me if I drink beer or wine. and I said no I don't like the taste, so he was like well does that mean that you can jump to Vodka or Martini. Even in the car while coming back he kept looking back to see if I was sleeping and even at home he was like lets see if you sleep early today. I know myself that one glass was not enough for me to get me drunk and sleepy. I was the last one to sleep yesterday and first one to get up ( he did have a bottle of corona and he woke up late and went to bed early). I can't figure out why was he acting all concerned?

My partner is 32 im 25 and we have been together 10 years and 6 months. 2005 I had sex with a man in our bed after months of falling out, it gets worse-he walks in on us and doesnt get violent just calls the police and has me removed from the house. I was then not allowed back in and forced to sleep in our little girls wendy house for two weeks. He paid for a rented house for me and 2 kids to live in, I couldnt afford to keep the kids on social security so i had no choice but to do the heart breaking thing and hand them over to the dad-the man im with. He had his revenge by sleeping with a woman he meet on line girls date for free then have sex with me at the rented house without even a bath.I can tell you i felt dirty and sick but i loved him so much and did everything i could to win him back.
Its now been 2 years since and he now tells me i wouldn't leave him alone so he felt he had no choice, he rubishes everything i do. Im demoralised and traped i cant leave him as i cant afford 2

So when we grew up christmas was always with my parents on the eve. Now all the kids are grown up and out for a long time. 1 brother lives far away and spends his with his kids and grandkids, 1 sister lives kind of far away and has no one but her husband , cause she is an alcoholic and no one likes her any way. and 1 brother lives close is 41 and is engaged to a 23 year old and caters to her every wim. And then there is me who still believes that christmas is time to be with FAMILY and friends. My parents totally count on me for everything because I am the closest. So many years ago I decided to quit catering to the parents and the in laws and started having christmas at my house. EVERYONE AND ANYONE INVITED. My parents came the first couple times and now they are back on this christmas should be the kids coming to the parents kick again! my children sing in church on x-mas eve @ 5pm and it is a 3 hour drive to there house. I told them to come here and they could stay.

Me and my fiance constantly fight it seems. She says its because she must repeat herself and remind me constantly of things I forget to do. So basically I cant remember things or I have to be reminded. She says she cant live the rest of her life repeating everything. Well a we have been together for 3 years and things didnt get bad till maybe a year and a half ago. She said it just all added up. Says she doesn't know if she can spend her whole life repeating things. She has a short fuse and gets frustrated pretty easy. Because I am pretty laid back she insists that i can find someone better that would treat me better, but i beg to differ. Other than that we have a pretty good relationship i think. I have suggested counseling and everything but she said it would do no good. What can I do? I try to listen better but sometimes i just zone out and cant remember what she says. I see it all as very little problems in the grand scheme of things...but i guess it really bothers her. Help?!

My dad is a good man, but when I try to think about the happy times we spent together, nothing comes to mind...I mean, it's almost as if I had been raised by a single mother.
I played soccer and softball, played piano and the flute, but my father never came to any of my games even when we won the regional championship or to any of my concerts. He did however found time to coach my brother's hockey team.
I went away to college and he never called me or even sent me an email. He's not abusive or anything but now when he tries to talk to me like he would to any other adult, I feel like I'm talking to a complete stranger, am I the only one who feels like this?

Okay so my friend has a problem. She has a best friend(let's call her suzy)...like, they are UNSEPERABLE. You would never see one without the other.
