What is a strange place you met or married someone you loved. EXAMPLE. one of my friends parents met at an airport and got married in a plane. I NEED ANSWERS PEOPLE.............NOW.

We met through friends but one of my favorite stories was my aunt's.
My Great Uncle was in a bar and he was very shy- he got drunk and playing dares with some of his friends- they dared him to ask the next girl out who walked through the door. My Aunt who was of a much higher social and ecomony status came into the bar looking for directions! My uncle ask her out and they were together until death.

Well, I met most of my dates in a fairly conventional manner (at work, online, etc). But here's what happened to a friend of mine, who was single and looking for a relationship.
Her sister was flying home from somewhere, and started talking to a girl sitting next to her on the plane. Turned out, the girl had a brother who was a Marine stationed in the same town where my friend lived. The girl said, "hey, my brother should meet your sister!" So my friend's sister got this guy's information, and passed it on to my friend. My friend got in touch with the guy, they started dating, he did a 9-month stint in Iraq, and now that he's back they have both moved to North Carolina where he will be stationed for the next 2 years. There's talk of marriage in the future. It was totally random, wasn't it?

My boyfriend and I met when I was working as a Hooters Girl. Some mutal friends of ours brought him to the restaurant one night to introduce us to each other. We've been dating for almost 2 years now and plan on getting married when I graduate college. Boy, I can't wait for that day when our kids ask "Mommy, where'd you and Daddy meet?"

We meet at an very odd place........I was working the counter at Restaurant over 4 years ago and he asked me out! Yeap it true!! Our first day was at his friends grad party on the beach!! We both have been big beach people since we were little!! So he purposed to me on the beach and we are getting married on the beach!!

My fiance and I met deep down in a coal mine!!
I was learning to drive one of those massive 240tonne dump trucks so that I can train people on them and it broke down.
He was the mechanic for that shift and it was love at first sight!
When we started dating he told everyone he was going out with a truck driver! lol
We wont be getting married in a mine though...!

Well..... I was wearing someone elses bathrobe- lol I was backstage for a preformance of The Pirates of Penzanze Mutual friends of ours introduced us (and later set us up). We will be getting married in june :) oh, and it was on his birthday

ive never had anything weird like that happen to me, but...
there was a news story a while ago about her lady and her husband meeting when they both worked at walmart...
they later got married IN the walmart store... complete with a walmart cake and wedding gown... tacky!

in the back of a church, i became into 15 and he became into 23, we talked, he held my hand, gave me a kiss on the cheek, and pronounced goodnight, then we went to the front of the church and went our separate techniques. WE the two knew our father and mom would on no account approve. on the instant i'm married to a gents who's 13 yrs. older than me.
