My parents are divorced and I just started college. I paid have of the expenses through scholarships, while my mom payed the rest out of loans and her pocket. My dad has not done anything to help, but he still contacts me and is nice to me. I have been told by many that I should just ignore him and remove him from my life, after what he didn't do. So what should I do?

My boyfriend and I are madly in love. Not the fluttery, first-date kind of love, but the comfortable, natural love that comes with totally enjoying the company of the other. He's a little older than me though, not that it matters, as we've known each other for nearly 4 years now. We have everything in common: values, beliefs, hobbies, fun times. He proposed to me recently and I accepted. We have been through a very rough year and our parents disagree with our relationship, which puts extreme stress on us. We both want to get out and move on together, and are working hard to do this both financially and emotionally. It's hard. I keep asking him if I am worth it, and he always strives to show me that I am. I am 18 and he's nearly 22, and we're both poor...are we too young to get married?

When my daughter was younger the usual "birds and bees" answers were adequate. Now that she is getting older her questions are becoming more spefic. How much information is to little or to much. How much detail is to little or to much.
I dont want to brush off her questions but at the same time not sure how much she can handle.

My dad hates my bf. My bf hates my dad. The reason my dad hates him is because my dad is obsessed with money. When my bf wasn't working my father constantly herassed him about it. While I wasn't trippin supporting my bf, my father instisted that he was a free loader and what not.
When the bf left me, my dad gloated about it though I was heart broken, and rubbed it in my face as often as possable.
Now bf and I are in peace talks and want to work on our relationship. I really don't care what my dad says, I wan't to be with my bf (im 24 by the way. Far to old for daddy to be controlling me i think.) Is there anyway to mend thier rift or should I just keep them apart?
Any dads out there want to give me advice on this one?

I live, breathe dream about this business I am starting up. I just stayed up 20+ hours doing research and other things. I can't sleep because I constantly think about it! I know it will work, thats why I am excited and can't seem to stop thinking about it. I am a workaholic. I am a father to be soon, I just am worried since I will work at home, I will be so obsorbed into work that I won't spend time with my child. I don't want to do that but then again I want to live comfortable and show my child that hard work pays off. I just need to know how to balance things I suppose?

I need some advice. I have been with my boyfriend now for about 2 years. We are engaged to be married but there are some major problems. Each time we have an argument he will beat me or threaten to beat me. I know he is a good person deep down but I can't keep putting up with the physical abuse. I love him very much and it hurts to leave. What should i do or say to try and make things better with my fiance? Or is it a better idea to leave him or be alone for a while? Please help

We'd been separated for about 2 mo, I was fixing myself, and we were spending time on the weekends. There were a few mistakes, but for the most part everything was going as good as it could. She said that I had 1 chance and we'd get back together so long as I fixed myself, and on that I was doing everything I possibly could to make things right.

We'd made love many times during the separation, and it felt like when we first got together, like a fresh start. Then I noticed that she wasn't as affectionate, distant, as if she wasn't in love with me anymore. So I asked her about it. She acknowledged how she'd been acting and needed some time to think about it.

Earlier tonight she said we are finished. That it's possible to get back together someday, but that she mite date others in the meantime. It broke my heart, we have a 2yr old child, and I have been doing everything she wanted. Imagining her with another guy is unbearable. I'll do ANYTHING to get her back. I need some help!

lately i have noticed that one of my close friends kate has been getting to know my boyfriend more..even though me and my boyfriend have been going out a year.
last weekend i got in to an agruement with him and kate was talking to us both to try work it out..she wouldnt tell me what he told her even though she says i'd rather know what people say about me!
i told her stuff and afterwards i have a feeling my boyfriend knows
this is not the first time she has fancied my boyfriend she has done with passed ones and she fancies my other friends boyfriends too.
my other friend Nina use to be best friends with my boyfriend and they were close but not in a bad way..since kate has got to know him this has changed..she has changed and she seems to be liking him more and more!
is it in my head or is there something going on?

Serioiusly... if you aren't getting it at home, why should you be required to keep dealing with the frustration of lame excuses?? I am not married, and maybe I am missing some ins and outs here! I would go nuts married to some guy who wouldn't give me any...when it is his duty as a husband....Lately my sympathy for cheaters has grown! People who are married to other healthy human beings, shouldN'T be subjected to this kind of thing... how can I be wrong?

1) As a married person (who is married to a healthy adult) who is NOT getting any? WHY DO YOU STAY?

OR

2) As a married person (who is married to a healthy adult) who isn't GIVING any? WHY DO YOU TORTURE YOUR PARTNER?

My husband's cousin brother is planning to come and stay with us. My husband goes on night shifts and long shifts often. We are just married for 1 year and I need privacy. I don't like my husband's cousin coming over to our house. Am I wrong in this issue? I am 23 years old, my husband is 29 and his brother is 27.

Imagine you met this very beautiful girl and she is a real great person. You can get along with her and she understands you fully. She also does not seem to have much friends.

Then, one day, you found out she is the daughter of some notorious mob leader.

Will you still want to go after her? Do you feel there will be a danger?

Do you fear her father will kill you or his enemies come after you?

What will you do?

work with a girl whos in her early 20s and she is skinny and very attractive and knows it. She overtly flirts with every guy who comes to the counter in my office with queries and literally runs up every time a guy comes in. I was ok but shes started doing it with guys i know and i feel threatened by it. As the one shes only started doing it since she saw us go ot lunch. He isnt particularly good looking but she cant bear any other woman to talk to him when he comes down. She is quite shallow as she says she only date good looking guys but i just get the impression she is looking down on me. As she always makes snidy remarks when i dress nice. Ever since she saw me with my male friend everytime he comes into my department she makes sure shes the first person he speaks ot and no one else and i feel i cant talk to him as she isolates u from the conversation. What do i do as when i do try talking to him she finds a way to turn it round to her again makes me feel like crap
