lately i have noticed that one of my close friends kate has been getting to know my boyfriend more..even though me and my boyfriend have been going out a year.
last weekend i got in to an agruement with him and kate was talking to us both to try work it out..she wouldnt tell me what he told her even though she says i'd rather know what people say about me!
i told her stuff and afterwards i have a feeling my boyfriend knows
this is not the first time she has fancied my boyfriend she has done with passed ones and she fancies my other friends boyfriends too.
my other friend Nina use to be best friends with my boyfriend and they were close but not in a bad way..since kate has got to know him this has changed..she has changed and she seems to be liking him more and more!
is it in my head or is there something going on?

just by looking at your question my answer is yes. the reason i say it is because, you must talk about your boyfriend a lot to your best friend. and your best friend must see how great your relationship is. with that in mind, why wouldn't she want a guy like that. and why not.. that exact guy?

i lost a boyfriend because i convinced my bestfriend that my boyfriend was the greatest guy in the world. and she took him from me. it hurt, but then again, i learned that she wasn't that great of a friend and he wasn't that great of a boyfriend.

and suppose she does like him, do you trust her not to act on her feelings? do you trust your boyfriend not to be unfaithful? communication is best to talk to her and your boyfriend. just be careful on how you say it.

It sounds like Kate has a history of trying to draw attention to herself. This is sad & she is going about this in the wrong way. Try not to let it ruin your relationship with your boyfriend. If Kate doesn't have a boyfriend maybe she's just curious. If it's jealousy that made you write the message, remember to keep that from becoming a problem. You can still be Kate's friend, obviously she needs someone.

I had a friend like this and i know how bloody frustrating it is!! I had to cut her out of my life to get on with my relationship with my then boyfriend. We lasted 3 years without her interfering! She's not a friend she's a jealous manipulative attention seeker get rid of her soon!!!
All the best

I've had a similar experience to you. My 'friend', Chloe, would tell my boyfriend 'he could always talk to her if he needed to' (I was thinking, "Back of biatch - if he needs to talk to anyone, he'll come to me!") and she fancied him like Billy Oh. From experience, I'd watch this girl very carefully. Talk to your boyfriend and tell him you don't want him anywhere near her. I did and it damn well worked even though he thought she looked like a man. But still!!

There may be something going on.. But a guy is no reason to lose friendship over unless she sleeps with him behind your back.

She is one of the girls who have got it into their head that boys that are going out with girls they see as superior are THE ONLY boys worth going out with. There is not much you can do, other than perhaps confronting her?

I have no idea what either are thinking but she is not a good friend to you and I suggest you remove her from your life. Who needs girlfriends who spend timing trying to steal your boyfriend?

However, it takes two to tango.......
