my cousin is a mess, shes 18 shacked up with a 36 yr old who helps her keep a steady supply of drugs and booze, she likes to get drunk all the time, but she cant handle it and breaks down into a sobbing mess and/or becomes really violent, she blames all her problems on her mum dying 10 yrs ago, and the whole family have 'babied' her since then, she acts like a child, sometimes when im with her, her behaviour reminds me of my 4 yr old sister who has learning difficulties, shes alienating all of our family, and she's aggravted them by telling me a family secret i was never supposed to find out, she can't hold down a job for more than a few months or weeks and thinks the world owes her a favour. she's gradually destroying herself she doesn't want to give up the drugs or alcohol, i can't go out anywhere with her, i was almost arrested the last time we went out because of her, i don't want to turn my back on her like the rest of our family have, but i don't know how to help her

im only 13, and before my first boyfriend (who wasnt that great of a boyfriend) i didn't talk to very many guys. after me and my bf broke up, i got tons of guys asking me out and flirting with me.... im thinking that my ex probably told people things we didnt even do. and some guys are even calling me a slu**. i havent even had my first kiss yet!
and a ton of other rumors are going around.
what should i do?

I just had my wedding 3 weeks ago and had about 5 couples that gave no wedding gifts. I plan on waiting months before I draw a conclusion but I was wondering prematurely, what if nothing ever comes. Do I confront them? I could care less about the gifts, I just can't get over the laziness and inconsiderate behavior. The wedding was well received by many and it cost $110 a plate. There was also a couple that did not come because they said their kid was sick. We still had to pay for their plates and we had already gone to their wedding last year. I am not extremely close to them. I have low expectations that they will send something, so what do I do?

My really close friend has a big problem. Everyday she's really sad and cries because of this. Her mom and dad are divorced. Her brother is always hitting her, he is about 10. Every time he does something mean or bad, he gets her in trouble and her mom yells at her and punishes her. She never listens to her and there is nothing she can do. I've tried to tell her what to do but nothing works. I even sent her mom an e-mail. Help :'(

Do you think it's fair that my grandparents bought my seven year old cousin a wii game for christmas but when they asked me what i wanted and i said "a cross necklace from james avery." they told me they "didnt have that kind of money." Now my mom is all mad at me for asking for such an "expensive" gift. She says i have too many cross necklaces (i have two but they they are from middle school and look childish. i am a jr in high shcool now!) Do you think i'm being unreasonable?

My grandparents aren't poor and they used to buy me nice things like that but last year for christmas all i got was a five dollar gift card to American Eagle. I bought a pair of socks!

Am i being unreasonable this season?
Or are they being too stingy?

I used 2 like this guy, but then i got ovr it and just liked him as a friend. All of the sudden he started being a HUGE jerk, and would always make fun of me, and told my friend (hes IN LOVE with her) that he hates me 2day. so i got his im and asked him why he hats me and he was like i dont hate u, u just always look at me (um not true), i was lok o lol sry, but i wana change the subj. so its not so akward, what should I say??

I don't like my grandmother or anyone from my father's side of the family. My father and my mother are seperated bc he was abusive and so was his family (especially my grandmother). Years of emotional and mental torture was enough. This past weekend was my birthday so my grandmother sent me a card in the mail. I didn't open it bc I knew that it was money that my father usually gives her to give to me, bc she wouldn't even have bothered if it weren't for him. I didn't even bother opening the envelope and sent it back to her through mail. Was I wrong to do so?

My parents are older and will be needing help in the very near future. My husband and I have offered them to move in with us. We live in a nice, warm area, and we both have decent jobs. My parents refused. They both feel they will be a burden, even though we stressed to them they will not and we will enjoy having them with us. My father seems to be somewhat open to the idea but my mother just keeps saying NO. She is attached to her house. My mother wants me to move back to their area. The area my parents live in is so bad that there are shooting and stabbing on their block. The weather is cold and they are currently snowed in. We could move back, but a decent area to live would be about 1hr drive away from their house and the jobs in my and my husband's profession do not pay as well so we would both have to take a serious pay cuts. What do I do? I want them to move, that would be the easiest and best thing. How do I convince them of this?

I read a question earlier that made me come up with this question for y'all....

Why when men cheat and the wife/mistress finds out, one of the them (women) starts harassing or stalking the other woman without doing any harm to the cheating man!? Yes, if the one that initiated the whole cheating situation was the man why the women (or at least one of them) starts fighting the other woman and completely forgets to harm the man... I don't think I'm being clear but people with comon sense would get the idea of what I'm talking about... :) lol

and we had an argument & now my good mood is destroyed! I keep telling myself not to let it bother me because the argument was stupid anyway. He was supposed to go to my sisters house to put a stain on her floor after work, but he stopped by the bar to have a few drinks first because he got his xmas bonus today. Well she called me to see if he was still coming, so I called him on his cell phone to ask him that & to see if he wanted to go to my oldest sons house for dinner & he went off on me about keeping track of his every minute & that he has the right to stop and have a beer or 2 if he wants. I didn't even mention that when I called him?! I don't know what his problem is, but it made me sooooo grouchy that I hollared at him to "Calm the f*** down" on the phone & my 7 year old over heard me say that & started crying. Now I feel like an as*! My good mood is ruined! :(

Ok. My mom and dad were married about 16 years, and they had 8 children. They got divorced, and now we live in NC, and he lives in NM. 4 of the children are over 18, and he is finally making child support payments because they take it out of his check. It's only around $700/month. He still owes my mom about $40,000 though, and I want to know if she will ever be able to actually get that amount of money. She barely makes it with the small payment that she is getting now, and if it were possible, that money could really help. There are still 4 minor children at home, the youngest is 11.

well this is actually a really complicated story and long story, but i will cut it short. my brother married his wife, she turned out to be a *****, he kept saying he was going to leave her and then he never did. we didn't talk for 2 months, then one day i decided to try and talk to him again, so we went to lunch. after that his wife disconnected his phone so we had no way to get hold of him, but he could have called us. but we never got a call. so its been a good 3 months since the last time we talked, so i saw him at the movie theater on sunday, i ran up and hugged him and my eyes started tearing up, and it didn't even face him. he acted like he didn't care at all. all i want is my brother back. but by the way he acts its like he doesn't want to come back. (when i say we it means my mom, dad and i) so do you think he cares about me still, or would he rather live with his piece of **** wife and her bitchy kids and not be able to contact us.

Bhisma was rejected by the princesses at the Groom choosing ceremony because of his old age despite his unparalleled valour and virtue known to the whole world. (though he was there to carry home brides for his brother, which nobody knew). So isn't this discouraging for us aging guys who want not to settle down any time in the near future succumbling to social pressures? What do you think. There were many attractive younger men in the same room Bhisma was in and obviously the girls gravitated towards them. In todays population exploded world, there is going to be even more competition from young guys.
