I've always admired my friends's relationships. Their's are usually very stable and long term some for 4 to 5 years. I'm always the one that is either without a boyfriend or changing boyfriends. I'm really tired of it and I'm ready to be stable with one person for the next few years. I'm tired of back and forth in relationships. I can't see the problem and I don't believe the problem is me. I'm always the one getting hurt. It seems to me the guys don't flock to me unless its some creep. EEEW!!! If its not a "hook up" by one of my friends I usually don't find a boyfriend. I don't like to look for a guy I prefer them to look for me but right about now I feel pretty desperate. I really want to be in a relationship right now. I feel really lonely. What do I do? PLEASE PLEASE HELP!!!!

My husbands grandmother currently lives near her daughter (my husband's mom), about 2 hours north of us. No one really takes care of her. She has a serious heart problem and needs someone around. I would LOVE for her to move close to us. I am a stay at home mom (so I could see her daily), and I love her like she was my own grandma. I was talking to her tonight and she said she would like to live in our town. I told my husband, and he agreed that we are better to take care of her than anyone else, but he's really worried about starting drama with his family (partly because his mom doesn't like me and would be jealous, and partly because people will be angry about her moving and won't want to help financially since my husbands aunt pays his grandmas mortgage, and she won't like the idea of her moving), and since my husband works for the phone company there is a chance of him being transfered in the future. What should we do? I hate the way the family is treating her now.

I have been with my husband for 7 years now. Before I met him I was working on my Bachelor's. We moved to another town and I had no probelms switching to a community college. I have taken all the classes I need and now after stretching 2 years of college over 7 years I want to go to back to a University to complete my degree but we don't have one in our town. I want to move back to my old town but he doesn't want to go. I said I will move there myself and visit when I can for two years and then come back. He said he just devastated! It turned into this big ordeal but I never meant that we should break up.

Number one it is one of my life goals to get at least a Bachelor's before I'm 30 and the clock is ticking!

Number two we are both working minimum wage jobs and saving whatever we can. He wants to spend our big savings on a new car or big TV and thinks school is a waste.

Do you think I'm being selfish?

...it's really late for him to be out. He takes the public transportation back home and my mom's been waiting for hours at a station just waiting to pick him up. He should've came home at around 7 PM which is the latest he's ever come home. He's not answering his cellphone and he's not answering my texts. What should I do?

I'm a little sad about coming home to my wife, kissing her, and then going our separate ways for the evening. She goes to do her sewing and I go and play computer games. I want to go in there with her and keep her company but what if she just continues to do her sewing and ignores me? Should I try to put my arm around her and pet her? She's bipolar but I love her very much and I miss her.

About 2 years ago walking in the halls at school on the first day, i saw this girl. She was amazing. It took me a year and a half to get the balls to talk to her. When i did i fell in love. She was perfect, i was not. I wrote more than 30 songs just for her. We got to be pretty good friends and then she told me at the end of the year she was moving to London. This broke my heart and it took me forever to get over it. She got a bf in London, and i was happy for her but i still had feelings for her. About 3 months ago we got into a really big stupid fight and she got really pissed at me.

Anyway, my point is i havent seen her in a year and i have changed alot. She is moving back on the 7th. What can i do to 1) be her friend again 2)get her to like me as more than a friend.

here is wat i look like:

I had a big fight with my mom today. I had lived with her for many years after my daughter was born, 14+ years actually in which I didn't date, go out with friends, etc. I moved out a couple years ago because I was asked to leave since I had began a relationship with a man. I had the choice to either go back to being celibate and staying home all the time or leaving. My daughter never moved with me and will not even stay all night because I have had sex in my apartment. I have gave her money every week and taken her our a couple times a week but have had financial problems for several months. I let my insurance go just to give her money a couple weeks ago. Today I was supposed to meet her and take her to eat but I didn't because I didn't even have the bus fare (have to save it to get to and from work) and I didn't think she would want to see me anyway. My mom came over and got all over me, and said I was a whore and a terrible mother for not giving my daughter 100 for christmas

Here is my problem. My husband has some pretty serious issues with anger, and with the fact that he does not like to accept responsibility for our sons' behavior. Our son acts exactly like he does and when your 12 that is unacceptable. Any punishment I have tried with my son my husband overrules and lets him do what he wants anyway, and than I get blamed as his bad behavior progresses. I am getting to the point where I am contemplating leaving him, just to keep the kids from having to be around him all the time, maybe that would help. I just dont know what to do. I really wish I could figure this out but my husband wont bend any to what we need to do to help him. I guess I need advice

I have anxiety sometime. When I'm down the only thing that seems to help it is reassurance from friends. But I depend on my friends too much and share too many of my problems with them. I don't want to drive everyone away :(

Also, the anxiety sometimes gets in the way of romance. For example, sometimes it can be helpful to relax and give things time and space...But this is hard for me! I hate to go for long stretches without phone or in-person contact, but some people like to take dating slow. This drives me nuts. I am not a "Rules" kind of girl...but wonder if being less available would increase my appeal by keeping things exciting.

Anyway, how can I avoid dialing the phone in these situations?

Hi there,
Well there is a problem in my 2 year marriage. My husband still struggling to find a job, but never misses his Monday nights out drinking to "ease" his unhappiness. It bothers me a big time even he says he spends his money on booze. I am working long hours, scraping to make ends meet. Please note since he doesn't have a job I am paying all the bills and morgage for my own condo. He covers only the food bill, all his savings are almost gone on "Quality of life" I tried to talk, fight, argue, nothing helps he just ignores me and still takes off to the pub, saying it is up to him when and how many drinks he will have. last night I told him to make his mind what is more important to him , otherwise he is free to leave me in peace. Guess what, he booked his flight to UK. I am devastated! It is Christmas time and it is the worst one for me. He is immature, very stubborn, selfish, 50 year old bustard. Now, you guys tell me if I am a *****?
Please any feedback is very helpful
