I am a 19 yr old female in my second year of medicine. I want to be an army medic. I just don't want a relationship with anyone. I've never been raped or had anything traumatic happen to me and I am def straight. I just see myself as single forever and the thought of someone knowing me in an intimate way makes me feel dirty. I also don't think anyone will really truly understand me. Am I not the only one out there, or am I real weird?

here is some more explanation about my question..I have been a relationship with a guy ( my current partner ) for about two years. We do have a great matual respectful/love relationship with eachother..we are not only partner but best friends as well and all things that should matter in a real relationship we do have them the best. BUT the only problem is, he is porn addicted and masterubte alot, when Im not around. I know that nobody is perfect and he has already honestly told me that, that how he suffers from it, and how it makes him feel bad after doing that so sincere.. we talked I tried to help him and did all I could do..I tried to bring more fun companis in our relationship..to be more sexier and even the way whores wear or things like that or do but still everything is the same..it hurts my feelings b/c I know he is not doing it on porpuse but still DOES. Just need some advice to know how to help him to quit this terrible habit.

I want to move on with my life and start a new with someone but once things get serious I get nervous and make things complicated.
I divorced four years ago. I was married for ten years to a guy that everyone liked but he didn't care for me. His family was abusive and he just treated me with total disregard. He says he never loved me. Now that I am trying to move on, I have gotten myself involven intimately on a few relationships, but I get tottaly scared. My ex and I were very religious people and that made the divorce more emotionally difficult. My issue has to do with people dating and rushing to have sexual intimacy. I tried it and it left me broken hearted and more confused.
I see that some relationships work that way, but religious people condemn that and even Doctor Laura says it messes up relationships. How do people do it? people succeed after many break ups? do they just get lucky? anyone know?

My relationship with my 25 yr. old daughter has always been strained, very difficult. As a baby, she seemed to hate me. When I nursed her, she would claw my sides and bite my nipples, with a look in her eyes that suggested she was intentionally being mean. I told myself, she's a baby, not capable of WANTING to be mean. I breastfed her till she was 11 mos. old. I also have 2 son's, the first 15 mos. older, the 2nd 5 yrs younger than her. All 3 have very high IQ's. I was a stay at home Mom till I divorced their dad after 18 yr. marriage. All my friends say I was an excellent Mom but we had challenges. My 2 oldest kids really acted out after the divorce. Rivalry between 1st son and daughter has never ended with daughter. She's as cruel to him as she is to me. I'm naturally very slender. Daughter struggles with weight but is not fat, she's beautiful. She had a daughter at 19 and she's always been jealous of my relationship with my grandaughter. I moved 1 state away in '03.

im so sick of beng heart broken. that is the situation. Well after all that and going through hell for 6weeks she called me and wants to try and fix things. The thing is I have no clue what she did in this time, and feel what would stop her from doing it again. My heart is telling me to go back to her but my head is telling me to be done. I do not want to ever put myself through such a thing again. She didnt want anything to do with me for some reason. When I asked her to work it would all she would say is I dont want to right now and this is what I need. She also told me to stop trying I dont know how many times. Now she is back and doesnt understand why I am questioning things.. I love her, I really do... but I also have to look out for my self.. i mean lets think about it. lets say u love the person so much & everything. but individually u have different things. lets say u have the house & the land before marriage, u both have cars & money before u get married ( but u have more money). with the world as it is today maybe the man wants to protect what was his before marriage. i'm nt saying that a divorce is imminent but divorce does happen & it brings out the worst in people. then the man gets shafted no matter what happens.

the alternative would be going to a state that has no common law marriage & just live there. then there would be no issue about who gets what. you take with u what u had before u got into the relationship. i'm nt saying marriage is crazy or anything but it has gotten to the point where when u get married & divorced its one sided. one person gets shafted while the other person lives better than the other. do any of u agree?

I have been dating my girlfriend for 4 years. Wow, I can't believe that. I don't think that I love her as a girlfriend anymore. My problem is that over the past four years I have tried to break it off several times. When i try to break up she flips out. And when i mean flips out, it's like she has gone mental. It is that bad. I am afraid she will hurt herself if i did break it off. I really don't want to deal with that again. I should probably also say that I have cheated on her from day one of our relationship. I have this guy friend I really like and we often flirt. In fact he told me one time he was falling for me (after a couple of drinks). Thing is, he never asks me about my love life. Could this be because he is not sure how I feel and this makes him shy? Normally he is not a shy guy at all. Now we live in diff. states as our jobs took us away. Well the women I go with for a start, they keep saying I'm chasing after every woman I meet (I seem to have a nice smile and women keep coming up to say so), what can I do about that? She says he won't take her out to dinner or movies when she is off work every other weekend, but hes out and about the other times when she works and just wants to sit when shes off. So she hit him. In my family there are 4 kids, and one of them is very rude to our family (and just plain mean sometimes), she doesn't help much or when she does she'll do a bad job (usually on purpose or because she's distracted by her iPod or the phone), and she's very ungrateful about things. Although we love her, she's put a lot of stress on our family this year. The other 3 kids are very nice and well behaved. Is it OK to give the more difficult kid less presents for Christmas when she doesn't necessarily deserve them like the other kids do, or should it be equal for everybody? Thanks.

My husband and I were on the verge of divorce less than six months ago but decided to try and make it work. There are some insecurities lingering because of the what we went thru. I don't go out with friends like I used to for two reasons, one to make us stronger and two because I get more enjoyment out of being w/ him than hanging out with them. My friends took me to a bar last month for my b-day and just to reassure him I called a few times and texted him to let him know he was on my mind. Yesterday was his holiday wrk party and I've been pretty sick lately and he said he would call to check on me since he doesn't have a cell for me to reach him. Well he didn't and it upset me, I'm not feeling well and he goes 7 hrs without so much as a how are you, did the kids get home safe nothing. Am I being over dramatic? Seriously I am hurt but wonder if I'm over-reacting.

He went to party last night.
Didn't invite me.
His excuse was they went to bars afterwards, and of course he can't invite me because they were going to bars and I don't have a fake.
It is so frustrating... How would he feel if I went to bars without him, and he was the younger one?
I don't know how to make him understand, because he doesn't understand my point at all.
I feel like, if I were him, I would MAKE it work.. I would do something we BOTH could do, you know?

Me and my boyfriend, Justin, have been together for almost 8 months. We are very happy & have always been honest, from what I thought. Well, lately on myspace he's been talking to girls and hes changed his password. Well, I made a fake myspace w/ a pretty girl. So, I sent him a message on this girls account and he started talking to her. I started talking sexually to him and asked him if he'd do sexual things with "me". He said yes. I also asked him on the girls account if he'd like to see a naked picture of her. He said yes, I told him I sent it and he said "Hopefully it's sexy." He even gave Julia, the "girl", him number. He also said they could meet up today at Best Buy (Right by his work) at 4:00 (The time he gets off today). Last night he was telling me about "Julia" but, he didn't tell me the whole truth. He didn't tell me that he gave her his number and I asked him when she wanted to meet up. He said he didn't know. I also asked him where she wanted them to meet up.
