Just because she associates with other females does not make her a lesbian. Is some boy saying this because he wants to have sex with her and she will not have sex with him, she will not go out with him, will not do homework with him?

I was called lesbian, wierdow, and everything else because I would not have sex, and unfortunately ended up getting raped in high school, because I refused to do what the other kids were doing. It was worse because I was a female nerd, my SAT scores were off the charts and was offered a scholarship from MIT, my parents did not think at the time it was good for a female to attend MIT. By the way I am over 40 years of age and unemployed.

Do you think that the children are at risk?
If so, you have to talk to your daughter and tell her that this is what you suspect and that if she doesn't stop it right away, then you'll have to tell the police.
Being a lesbian is not the problem.
The problem is, if you think that she's taking advantage of the children there; Having sex with them?

She might flirt with girls...you can tell if someones flirting or just messing around cause there a friend..maybe she holds a girls hand...theres a ton of stuff that can point to someone being a lesbian..maybe she shows more affection towards girls then guys or maybe shes confused and just tryin to figure out what she wants. I think u should talk to her about it.

Maybe she if she does stop doing boys stuff and start to dress up. you know i was a tomboy all through out school, and huing out with girls, and did boys stuff , secretly i did boys stuff to try and get a date with a guy, till one day i learned my lesson, I tried out for Floor hockey ALL BOYS I WAS THE ONLY GIRL, WELL I GOT KICKED IN THE FACE, dragged down, and hurt reall bad, After i got hurt, the couch came up to me and made me sit on the benches for the remainder of tye games, i was bored and confused, Sooo The made a decision to stop, i made my point, and started to where perfume and dress like a lady should

she may be doing things to have others think she is and you just don't know it.

if she has a butch haircut, change her look. if you buy her vest stop that too.

she may be confused on who she's attracted to more. if she's not old enough to date, have her ask a boy to the movies and chaperone. if she spends alot of time at sleepovers, the girls do play play roleings alot of parents aren't aware of and she could always want to be playing the role as the "male"

wow...last time i checked it was normal for girls to hang out with girls......i feel old now...but i would say.....just stick it through she shouldn't have to prove herself to anyone and encouraging her to do so would just give the wrong impression of being gay and that it's wrong or shameful....talk it out with her to make sure how she really feels about the situation and let her know that it doesn't really matter and shouldn't matter what others think about her....

It may be how she acts or what she says to them. Maybe just kids being mean. Talk to her and see. Maybe she dones't know she's putting out there a "lesbo vibe."
