Im due in January with my first child and my husband smokes Marijuana. I don't think theres anything wrong with Marijuana, but do not do it myself. Neither my husband or I drink we both have strong values against alcohol and it's affects on people and families.

I was raised where drinking and smoking anything was very very wrong so I have never done it myself. Now that im becoming a mother I am seriously worried about my husband smoking weed.

Not because of the traditional values but the fact that if he were to get caught with some on him, we could get reported and have our children taken away?? My husband is a factory worker doing hard labor for 11 hours a day, 6 days a week. Hes been nothing but good to me and he will be a good father.

Im extremely worried about what could happen if he ever got caught... with the work he does its comforting to me to know that marijuana can mellow him out at the end of the day so hes not a jerk.

Im conflicted and need some opinions?

The wedding is in March/2008 and I have nowhere to have a reception. There will only be about 50 guests and I need a reception hall that will allow me to bring my own caterer and a DJ for dancing. Please advise.

I really like this guy and we're really pretty close. Sometimes I don't know what to say to him though and I think it is the point in our friendship that we either stay friends or progress. I don't know what to do or say. He's just so nice and I don't want to get hurt again. Would getting him a christmas present be a good idea? How about asking him to "hang out over break" in a christmas card? Please help!

I'm not sure if I am thinking this right or not, but my problem is that my husband just got this new job which pays really well and I work as a med trans at home and have a 1 yr old son. My problem is that my husband does not want to pay all the bills. I don't make as much as he does. One of my checks would be half of what he makes in one check. He makes enough to pay all the bills off of one paycheck and still have some left from it and have another free check towards the end of the month. Since I work at home, i make lunch, have supper, wash clothes, clean, pretty much everything at home Plus still work. Is it fair for me to pay half of the bills, still? I know with the extra amount he will be saving, which is good, but i know its not for us but for himself. Are things suppose to be half and half even when we're married? Please help.

ok why do i get like this? like ill say something or ask something on msn then i get a response i dont expect then i get all worried about talking to that person the next day..

ex. ill ask like whats wrong? whats with that sad smiley face?
then she'll say something like ' nothing...' or 'dont worry about it.,,

then i just get like nervous about seeing them the next day..

I am so frustrated, my hubby and I have 2 kids, a lot of bills, and i am a stay at home mom. We want to make some savings for the raining days, but we just can't seem to be able to do it all due to his side of the family.
Everyone except for his brother wants money from us. Either car payment, or rent or after-school care for the nephew, they call to ask for help. We try to say no, but sometimes they tell us if we don't help, they would be evicted from the apt or have their cars in-pounded. Every month, we cut out our expenses to help their "emergencies", but i don't think it's fair for my own children, my family, we work so hard, we should enjoy our earnings.
This year, they are coming for xmas, not only they ask for expensive gifts, they also wants us to cover their air fair. What the.......?! My hubby isn't saying a think, except " just this once" but it's happened so many times....

I have two lovers. They are both far away from each other. One lives a reasonable distance from me, another far. The one who lives nearer is older and I met him a year ago. He wasn't really that serious but we enjoy each others company and have a good spark. But he made it quite clear at the begining he did not want a deep realtionship. He was still smarting from another relationship that had just ended.
The far away i know very little about his life away from me, and he comes to me at weekends now and then, we go out a little, but mostly we enjoy one another here at home. I have known him for 6 months. I thought the other man was not very into me. They are both extremely different in their approach to me and as people. I feel bad (and many of u say 'so you should') but it happened that way because all of us were indecisive. Now both want to be with me on a more serious level. I have never,ever, two timed, and suddenly I feel awful about it all. Has this ever happened to you?.

Long story short. My boyfriend has been friends with a female before I came in the picture. In the past she has asked him to do things like shopping w/her and he on occasion has dinner w/her at her restaurant. Last weekend, she hosted a party at her restaurant for another friend. She invited him and he then invited me. Like I anticipated, she kept glancing over at us, and trying to catch his eye. At the end of the evening, they hugged (a little too closely, I think) and he said "I'll try to stop by next week". I didn't say a word to him on the way home and although he didn't say anything, he knew I was ticked off. I know I don't have the right to pick his friends, but I can't help feeling this chick has her claws set on him. I know that if there was something going on, he may not have invited me to the party, but I noticed he wasn't as affectionate as he normally was either. am I worrying for nothing? Thoughts?

I aked this question last night and had some good feed back, I would like to ask it again and get more feed back from everyone.
My girlfriend and i broke up 12 days ago. We had been together for just over four years, that time had been filled with alot of fun and love, a few months back she was 100% commited to me and couldn't imagine her life without me in it, we both felt we would get married in a few years and spend the rest of our lives together. but 2 weeks ago she told me she didn't know how she felt anymore!, she wasn't shaw if she still loved me the same. We decided to break up so she could work out her feelings. She felt she may have to lose me in order to realise how she feels about me. I still love her with all my heart and want her back, im giving her space and havn't contacted her. is their anything else i could possibly do to speed things up and make her see she still loves me without pushing her further away from me?

My bf and I have been together for 6 months. I am 36, he is 27. I was married, have 2 kids. I am pretty much his first serious relationship. I asked him a few weeks ago if his family even knows I exist, and he said 'no'. Up until Sept, we were keeping our relationship a secret as I just separated from my husband in March, and got together with my BF in July, so we have only been 'officially' together for about 4 months. He said that since we were keeping it a secret he just hasn't told them yet, although everyone else including my kids and family know about him. He practically lives with me, is at my place every day. So WHY then hasn't he told his family about me? I feel like he's embarrassed that I'm older than him, or that I'm separated and have kids? I really don't know and I know I need to just ask him. Any advice?

I have been married for a little over 2 years, and we have a 19 month old son. Well i'm not happy or am i in love with him anymore, i want OUT!! My mom say's to go stay with her for a little while to see if this is what i really want, and i know this is what i want. I went and talked to a lawyer and everything already. For 4 years, I worked in this department. But this past summer, I was transferred into a better department, a step up. I've realised my old coworkers are acting cold towards me, so I asked my old supervisor if there was a problem with me that I wasn't aware of. She said that she and other girls in my old department have made comments that I think I'm better than them now. They say I don't talk to them anymore, and leave them out of my life. That is not the case at all, I love them and miss them all, but don't want to be a showy person and flitter around them all the time. I'm shy. What can I do to get them to talk to me again?? My boyfriend doesn't understand what I want or he just not willing to give it. I've told him from the beginning the kind of closeness I want, which is to be around him a little at least every day. That is who I am, and I can't change it. He's brought up the subject of us living together, and he's even answered strangers with "Not yet" when asked if I'm his wife.
