For the past couple of years my mom has been obsessed with her guinea pigs. Me, my mom, and sister were forced to live in a small bedroom at our grandpa's house. Also in the bedroom is 11 guinea pigs. There are 6 big cages taking up a ton of space and the room is extremely cramped. The room is very uncomfortable. It smells like guinea pig poop and ammonia from the pee. You walk in the room and the smell hits you like a ton of bricks.
Another thing is when we try to sleep during the night, it is hard to get to sleep because the guinea pigs are constantly making noises with bells and squeaking. And at 8 in the morning they wake us up the same way!
Also being that it is winter, and it is cold now..we aren't allowed to turn on the heater because my mom doesn't want her guinea pigs to get too hot. So me and my sister have to almost freeze because of it.
It is making everyone in the family uncomfortable and she doesn't seem to care...
What do you think about her behavior?

My husband of 7 1/2 years and I have a 3 year old son. Our marriage has been rocky from the very start. Things have gotten pretty unbearable and he's emotionally abusive as well as loses his temper in front of our son alot. We have talked about divorce a million times and he's tried to kick me out (which he can't do according to a lawyer I talked to) or leave and take the kid. He has said that we should go to a mediator to resolve things should we decide to get divorced. Is it better to do this, or get my own lawyer? I feel that if I get my own lawyer and serve him with divorce papers, he'll be shocked and may even react badly, but with my own attorney, I can be assured that he'll have only my best interest at heart. Should I get my own laywer or try to go to a mediator with my husband?

I was aked out to supper by my boyfriend who always asks me to do things then never follows thru. I just really forgot about it.
I went shopping yesterday and then treated myself to a very late lunch.
My boyfriend was mad because he said he asked me to go out to eat with him yesterday 2 or 3 days ago, and I had already eaten and didnt want to go out again. Well, he always asks me to do things with him and never follows thru with it, so I just forget about it and never put a 2nd thought into it because I am not sure when he is legit or blowing out his a$$ again. Am I wrong?
Am I wrong or selfish or is it him and his continued self centeredness. He thinks the world evolves around him and his lifestyle. I think he gets this from being married to women who would kiss his behind because he made the money and a lot of it.
I on the other hand work like a fool, raised a family alone and took care of my own home and family and dont really feel like I should be catering to him

I know that most people do it right after dinner--HOWEVER--I find that many people leave (elderly) or completely miss the photo op since they're socializing. My Photographer suggested to do it pretty much right when we arrive at the reception so that it will be done (and you can relax & socialize after the bouquet/grater toss and no longer be pulled from your festivities) and the hall can work on cutting & plating it for right after dinner. Opinions??

I have been married for 10 years to a wonderful man. He has his flaws but over all he is a great man. 6 months ago I was contacted by my HS sweet heart. We were together for 7 years and I thought we were going to marry. Instead one day he was gone. Just like that. Needless to say I was devestated . I had more questions than answers. Although 20 years have come and gone and I went on with my life. I always had the ligering question "why". He is now a very wealthy man, in my eyes very cocky and quite arrogant. I can hear him when he talks about others and how he conducts his life. My dilema is I think of him alot. I wait for him to call. I feel like a headstrong teenager. I don't want to Jepurdice my marriage but I can't stop thinking of him. I obviously don't like him but the memories I have of him seem to be stronger than the reality that is before me. I need to know why. What can I do to help it.

She has really put me thru hell over the last 10 yrs or so, and I am relieved she has finally moved 130 miles away with yet another new boyfriend who's parents were gracious to let her move in to their house.
I bought her a really expensive I pod last year and her skank boyfriend she had back then threw it and its ruined. I cant really afford to spend a lot on her.
I dont want to just blow her off, after all, I did give birth to her, but I really have had enough of her crap. She refuses to work a full time job, I imagine the kind people she lives with probably feel sorry for her, not knowing her shinannigans and what she is capable of until she warms up to them.
What should I get her? Oh yeah and thanks for letting me vent a little.

Have you ever felt like you fell in love with someone you met online? And the person is a friend? It happened to me, but I'm married and I love my husband, but even though I haven't met this person in life- I'm starting to feel something.

would you always have a thing for a girl you held one night in bed(you thought she was the most beautiful girl alive)nothing more than holding her because she was so sad about her x(your friend)cheating on her.knowing the 'guy code' would not allow you to pursue her, would that eat you later in life? would you always have a 'thing' for her?

I know there is alot of you out there with difficult mothers. Don't get me wrong, I love her she just can be very.....what's the word, controling, challenging, manipulative, dishonest, insincere. I have four children and this time of year is very important to me. Honestly, I am not even sure she knows all my kids names. She only sends gifts to my daughter but never my sons for their birthdays and I always have to make up some excuse to protect their feelings. How do I carefully draw the boundaries. I'm not interested in confronting her on her behavior because she is like a wild animal who feels threatened when she cornered and she attacks you back or throws a giant guilt trip on you for feeling the way you feel. Should I just grit my teeth and get through it. Any tips?

I just started seeing this guy and he is super great. Im so into him. but just the other night I heard this song on the radio and it reminded me of this other guy i use to want real bad 2 years ago and he wanted me(we cuddled one night and nothing more had ever happened), but I was not able to be with him because he is mutual friends with my x and it was such a messy situation at the time with my x trying to get me back. now I keep thinking about him again even though im with a great guy, why wont this other guy leave my mind?

are not there for you in your time of need as you were for them? Even worse, they stab you in the back when you are down? How do you deal with a situation like this? And why is it so easy for some people to hurt others whom they once regarded as friends?

I have been seeing a guy for nearly 6 months. ts a long distance thing and nearly always hasn't got the travel fare. He works and told me he has cash flow problems. I beleive him but somehow I think I am being stupid. He's never paid me back but is always sweet and loving when he does come to me, like he's so glad to see me when he arrives. I've been in similar situation myself at times so I tend to beleive him, but does this seem odd or what? Sometimes I just don't have the money but somehow I always find it. Why can't he? I have tried talking to him about it but it embaresses him I think, so I just leave it. But surely if he is working he should have some cash to pay to come and see me?

our 3 year old is now in tears again, because daddy didn't show.
Whilst it is against my better judgement, is it ok if I secretly knock his lights out? (not the ones on his car).

Yeah I know, it's not the right thing to do...setting an example and all that jazz but gosh wouldn't it be sweet?

I like this boy. Lets call him tyler. Well me and tyler use to flirt alot. And ya know.... he would play footsies with me... and he would out his hand on top of mine sometimes... and he look into my eyes and stare for what seemed like forever, but was only a few seconds. But the funny thing is, the only place I would ever talk to him at was in my industrial tech class at shool. If i saw him in the hallway he wouldnt even look at me... and look at his feet, and look up to see if i was looking, and If I was he'd look down really fast[pretty obvious]. But then one weekend me and my friend prank phone called him and my friend "acidentily" told him it was me. And so of course. I went on and I covered it up, and he beleived me. So I "thought" that was behin us. But I guess not. So we got a new teacher in industrial tech and so we didnt sit next to eachother anymore. So we really never talked anymore... (continued in detaills)
