I am married to a great guy and we are usually good friends, we have a great home and we are very much in love and passionate about each other for 359 days a year.
But here is the weired part. When I am flying out on business, usually for 2-3 days, and rarely. Maybe twice a year. He doesn't call me. I cannot get him on the phone either. I feel like I am "out of sight out of mind". I talked with him about it and he says that he doesn't want to bother me because I am busy and he knows I don't have time to talk on the phone. But I reassure him over and over that it is ok and he can call anytime because I love it when he calls me, or at least answer the phone when I call.
I am now on a business trip again, and its been two days and I didn't hear from him and he doesn't answer his phone.
I was thinking about getting a divorce because I think it is not ok. I am the bread winner in the house so it is not a financial problem to leave him. What am I doing wrong?

A newlywed couple had only been married for two weeks.
The husband, although very much in love, couldn't wait to go out on the town and party with his old buddies. So, he said to his new wife, "Honey, I'll be right back."
"Where are you going, coochy cooh ?" asked the wife.
"I'm going to the bar, pretty face. I' m going to have a beer."
The wife said, "You want a beer, my love ?"
She opened the door to the refrigerator and showed him 25 different kinds of beer brands from 12 different countries: Germany, Holland, Japan, India, etc.

The husband didn't know what to do, and the only thing that he could think of saying was,
"Yes, lolly pop ... but at the bar ... you know ... they have frozen glasses ..."
He didn't get to finish the sentence, because his wife interrupted him saying,
"You want a frozen glass, puppy face ?"
She took a huge beer mug out of the freezer, so frozen that she was getting frostbite just holding it.

My daughter just came back from visiting her Dad and grandmother over the Thanksgiving holiday.

She had a great time and really enjoyed herself. They bought her things, took her out and gave her the food that she likes to eat.

Now, she is back with me and keeps comparing what I do to how they did things.

She does not like the food that I make and keeps saying the her grandmother made better food than me. She also says that she never ate pasta there and I make pasta about once per week here. Its quick and easy and I add salad, vegetables to it to make a complete meal.

She also says that they gave her milk there. I always have milk in the house and she does not want to drink it when I ask her to.

I feel sad when I hear these comparisons, but don't know how to react other than saying you are free to go and live with them if you want. Then, she says that she can't.

My ex and I entered into our first custody agreement earlier this year (July). He planned a vacation in December in conjunction with his normal custody days so that I will only see my child for 24 hours over a 16 day period (we are allowed two 7 day periods). I asked that he reconsider his vacation plans back in August when he told me about them and he said he would think about it. When he confirmed his plans two weeks ago, I subsequently planned to take 2 vacation days at the end of his vacation period. Now, two weeks after I told him of my vacation plans, he says I don't have any vacation time left because I used them all earlier this year before we entered into a custody agreement and that he would be spending time with her on those two days. He is trying to control me and is not being respectful of me as a parent and does not have our daughter's best interest at heart. What can I do? How can he deny me my vacation time? What action can/should I take?

Ok this morning my sister woke up and told me it was 6:45, and usually i have to finish showering and dressing by 7:00. So i didnt wash my hair or anything, and i took a quick shower with only soap. Well when i got out, a i realized it was still only 6:00!! I got mad at my sister, who was taking a leisurely bath, and went and said a few choice curses that i won't name here. Well i was right outside my bathroom, and then i saw my MOM. RIGHT. BEHIND. ME. She had just woke up and was walking downstairs. She just had a tiny mad (mostly sleepy)face on, and kept walking downstairs. I just looked at her guiltly. Now i feel horrible. She has stress problems, and she hates it when my sister and i fight. And as it turns out, i had only misunderstood my sister. She said it was 5:45!! What do i do to make it up, or what do i say 2 her?? She mite not say anything about it..whatdo i do then??

Let me give an example- my sister had a conversation with a married co-worker about sex- just chit chat. Now everytime she is around him, his is flirty with her. She insists she did nothing in the conversation to indicate she was interested in him. I, myself have found if I discuss the subject of sex with a guy, often, he starts hanging around more. Is the topic always perceived as a come on even if you feel you did nothing to make it seem as such?

I am his limited guardian at this time, but have already gone to court because the mother is trying to revoke it. I have raised this child since he was 2 wks. old. The mother was sent to jail the day he was born, and in & out of jail ever since. 10 months ago, she called me from 2000 miles away -which is where we all used to live - but i had moved away over 1 yr prior to this - to come and get the child AGAIN as she had no one to take care of him AGAIN. Now she is homeless again and wants benefits from the child to provide her income/housing. No- kid - no benefits. He is currently in school here and will go to another state and become her meal ticket. They will arrive on a street corner with no where to live. She has airline tickets. I personally can tell that this is not a good environment for the child (she is a drug user too) but how do I prove this to the court? I need evidence of some kind?? Other than my word. And any other route that I cannot come up with?? Please help

we moved my father 89yrs old in with us in July. We have tried very hard to make him feel comfortable and keep as busy as he can( he has arthritis in his knees and a very weak heart). He never seems to be satisfied with anything. His answers to our questions are always negative. If I go out to visit a friend for a few hours, when I get back he says well that was a long visit, I can't get along without you here. If I don't sit and watch tv with him he pouts and won't talk for awhile. He told my husband once when I was out shopping that it was getting dark and I needed to be home. My father has never been a person to have much compassion all his life. He has met his gr grandchildren for the first time since they were born and he hasn't come to our home in the last 30 yrs although we have made twice yearly trips to see about him in Vermont from our home in Tennessee. What is the solution? I would feel very guilty putting him in a home, because he still has a very sharp mind. any help
