i gave my bf a backscratch the other night and he said keep it up and ill marry you...and then i made him his favorite brownies the other day and he said make me more brownies like this and ill get you an engagement ring...the thing is i know he is joking since we only been together a month and a half and we havent even said i love you yet, but why does he say these things, do you think he might think i might be the one someday?

You should start applying the same joke on him now.Initially he will be stunned. Later he may cease joking with you in this way or come out if he has some serious interest in you.

Well considering your relationship is new, I wouldn't get really wrapped up in what he says. Just go wtih the flow. Just sounds like he's flirting.
