My husband felt a little funny about it before she was born, and maybe for a bit after she was born. But it becomes one of those things that has to be done to care for her, and you will instinctually want to care for her! Every second poo poo is left on tender skin it is uncomfortable and can lead to diaper rash........it becomes a matter of cleaning her up so she isn't in pain later. You will do fine, Good Luck, and Congratulations!

I'm a girl, never had a baby..............but I'll answer:
you're the DAD, the parent, the protector. You are supposed to take care of your offspring, even when that means cleaning her up. Nothing wrong or unnatural in that. You're a parent! That baby is your flesh and blood. It's like you're cleaning up an extension of yourself.

But if you feel embarrased, let the mom do the bathing and cleaning. You can do it just in emergency situations.

YOU'RE HER DADDY!!!.... you don't FEEL anything about cleaning her up except a great concern for getting it done quickly and right..... this is a wonderful chance for you to show your tender care and concern for the little one that will one day take your heart WITH HER and walk away....don't worry about 'feelings'.... if you're a normal man, you'll be a little bit interesting in the parts, but that will go away quickly.... after that, your only concern will be to make sure she's clean and dry... you'll soon realize that it's the same as you trying to cut her toenails.... just love her and quit worrying.....try to realize that one day, she'll be wiping YOUR dirty butt............

its a little different than wiping a boy but I would say the only real difference is to wipe away from your vagina.
