would you always have a thing for a girl you held one night in bed(you thought she was the most beautiful girl alive)nothing more than holding her because she was so sad about her x(your friend)cheating on her.knowing the 'guy code' would not allow you to pursue her, would that eat you later in life? would you always have a 'thing' for her?

first off I would never hold a girl if she needed my comfort because her boyfriend (my friend) was cheating on her. If she broke up with him I would comfort her but not go that far. It actually depends on how close I am with that guy. I'm not about to break up a friendship just to comfort a girl by holding her. However I can talk to her an give her support that way. So... no it would not "eat me up" later in life.

How good a friend? I mean if I thought she was the most beautiful girl alive I'd wait a while and maybe figure things out with my boy.

But otherwise girls come and go and no I wouldn't always have a thing for her once I decided that I wouldn't pursue her

Sounds like you jumped into bed with someone too soon after getting hurt and now your just wanting to cling on to someone. The stranger part is you got cheated on by this guy's friend and you go back and hook up someone who was close to your ex? Sounds strangely like your way of "getting back" at the one who made you hurt.

But back to your question... would I? No. While you may have been told that you were the most beautiful girl, doesn't mean you have your head on straight... and believe it or not... us guys tend to look for a girl who isn't phsycho.

Hope this helps.

I think if I had a thing for a girl the guy code would be thrown out the window and if my friend cheated on her I probably wouldn't want a friend like that anyway.....

Yeah, if i liked her. But like you said, I would stop myself because I don't wanna be the 'rebound'. I actually had something similar to that (not the holding thing) I liked this girl but didnt pursie her beacause i found she recentl;y got over someone cuz he didnt like her back. Recently i found out we both liked eachother for a while and never knew it because i didnt go for her =( I regreted it but its not the end of the world but you cant help to wonder late rin life what it woulda been like.
