She has really put me thru hell over the last 10 yrs or so, and I am relieved she has finally moved 130 miles away with yet another new boyfriend who's parents were gracious to let her move in to their house.
I bought her a really expensive I pod last year and her skank boyfriend she had back then threw it and its ruined. I cant really afford to spend a lot on her.
I dont want to just blow her off, after all, I did give birth to her, but I really have had enough of her crap. She refuses to work a full time job, I imagine the kind people she lives with probably feel sorry for her, not knowing her shinannigans and what she is capable of until she warms up to them.
What should I get her? Oh yeah and thanks for letting me vent a little.

I forgot to add, I put a car on my 4.8% credit card for her to the tune of $6K dollars and she has skipped making the payments she promised and I am paying for her car which she has made only 4 payments on and now doesnt feel obliged to pay for.

You are basically buying her a car, so I think that should cover her for several Christmases and birthdays to come! You can send her a Christmas card and some home-baked goodies this year, or something along those lines. Just a little something to let her know you are thinking about her and wishing her a Merry Christmas, despite all the issues.

Personally I would send a card telling her that she don't have to worry about her December car payment as you have paid it for her so that she can use her money for Christmas. If you feel too bad for not sending anything then put in a $20 gift card. Other than that I wouldn't worry too much about a big gift as she probably wouldn't appreciate it considering she seems to be self centered. Good Luck & God Bless!

If she is over 130 miles away and your tired of her, why buy her anything? I can understand its 'heartless', if you wanna call it that, but she is adult now, and clearly out of the house.

My parents don't get me much, if anything, for Christmas, and I live only 10 min from them....

But if you are dead set on sending her something, why not a nice bath set, cheaper perfume, or just some cash? That way your not spending alot and nothing can be broken by a boyfriend..Good luck!

And I seen your added details...You can get the car repo'd since she wont pay. After all, YOUR name is on the loan, and SHOULD be on the car as well.

But a card and inside put a picture of her car and a payment schedule. Circle the payments you have made.

It seems as if you've already given her plenty.. not that it isn't your job as a parent. She's of age now though, so I wouldn't go all out. As someone mentioned, just do a card and put some money in there.
