are not there for you in your time of need as you were for them? Even worse, they stab you in the back when you are down? How do you deal with a situation like this? And why is it so easy for some people to hurt others whom they once regarded as friends?

You have a valid point, I am dealing with a crisis like this right now in my life. My father has been in and out of the emergency room for heart troubles the past 2 weeks. None of my 'friends' have called me to see how I've been except for one, and he is truly my only best friend who has always been there for me through thick and thin. Whenever ANY of my friends are having trouble, I am right there, as a shoulder to cry on, I sometimes forget my own needs in order to be there for them!

I've just dealt with it by ignoring the others behavior and trying to keep my head up, because this is a time in my life where I can not worry about their actions towards me because then I'd have twice the burden, and I don't need to stress about it.

It's easy for others to hurt their friends because they don't put themselves in one another's shoes enough. They don't try to see the world through their friend's eyes, and sometimes it makes them heartless.

If you are dealing with this problem, just please know that you are not alone, and I wish you the best! :)

Friend! Let me narrate you one incident. Once the most revered saint of Lahore Hazrat Mian Mir Qadri Rehma was sitting in his house with some people. One of them asked "Well you are my old friend you have not visited my place for long" Hazrat Mian Mir replied I curse the moment when I will take another a friend there is only one friend and that is Allah and Allah alone".

You really need to listen to this song: (it is country music) but forget that and listen to the words. They are so TRUE. It's called "You Find Out Who Your Friends Are" and it is by Tracy Lawrence. After you listen to it, you will know what a true friend is, and you need to get rid of the other backstabbing, "just out to use you" so called hurtful friends.

Well, this just tells you that they are not your friends... A friend in need is a friend indeed... so look at the cup half full: it's great that you found out who they really are.

~This cuts me really deep~

This is apparent in my life now, I serioulsy fail to understand why they do that? I mean we are there for them through good and bad times, and when you need then they are not there!

I relasied they are the one's known as 'USERS"

I simply try to get on and not let them get to me, however if they need anything I will always be there for them (",) As even if someone is bad, one must try and remain good with them (",)

As Salaamu Alaykum

Insha Allah I will try to be forgiving & try my best to be nice to them. It is not right to avoid your Muslim friend for more than 3 days. Insha Allah I will forgive them so Allah can forgive me.

Ma'a Salaamah
