Ok, here it is..my friend smells really bad. I have no idea what to tell her because she is always bragging about how great she smells and all the different perfumes she wears, but all I smell is nastiness. What do I do?

Basically my MIL has hated me from the moment we met. Her and my husband do not get along and can barely stand each other but I tried being nice and allowing her to come to both of our weddings and all she did was cause problems.

After we got married she went on a tirade telling me that I had to give her the money we got as a wedding gift even though she paid for nothing in our wedding and when I refused she threw a fit and started telling me she was glad that my dog died the week of my wedding and she hoped I did. Along with other harassments and cruelety.

Now my hubby and I are going to buy a house and she feel she needs to be involved with every aspect and when we both told her no because every time she came house hunting with us she threw a tempertrum because she didn't like the place and we did ...

when you're having a conversation with them, they look up at the sky instead of looking you in the eyes. i know they don't do intentionly, but i'm curious if anyone knows why. One of my best friends, for over 35 yrs, still does that. so let me know ok thanks

My best friends is friends with my ex's friends. She was before I met him and who am I to tell her to talk to, Anyway she was at a party where my ex was and apparently he was talking about me alot, calling me a *****. He ended the relationship. the girl that i was dating, we decided to be friends because she needs to take care of her self emotionally and mentally.
we decided also to keep in contact and continue our normal routine of calling and emailing each other. this is kinda hard n confusing to me as i do want to keep our routine going but its doesnt feel the same cuz i dont have the intentions anymore
we decided this on tuesday, she email me a nice ecard the following day wishin me a nice halloween, i responded and that was it, then the following day she email me asking me how was my halloween i respond that it was a blast she responded with a simple that s great. i dont want to look bitter at all which im not but i do not have motivation to contact her on the regular now but i dont want her to think i m mad at her or lose our friendship
what do u suggest i should do>? and how to approach this situation

One decides if one doesn't want to be with anyone else and also everyone is able to make friends but perhaps people who are disfigured or have a certain disability find it very hard to connect with other people. On the other hand, if you don't make the effort obviously people are not going to take to you.

I am three months into a divorce from my wife of 20 years. I have an 11 yr old girl and a 4 yr old boy.

How long should I wait before telling my children that I am reentering the dating scene? I initiated the divorce and my children know that...and I am no longer in the house, but see my kids a couple of times every week, and all weekend every other weekend, until I have more permanent living arrangements.

Obviously I am not planning on introducing every woman I date to my kids, but I do want them to know I am seeing other women...especially so that we don't accidentally run into each other and surprise them.

I am married and have 3 children. My husband has a very serious substance abuse problem and it is affecting our marriage and the lives of our children. Even though I have been with him for 14 years, it has always been a problem, which now is MUCH worse. I tried getting him help and he refused. He told me that "I can't control him or what he does and he is going to continue to get high regardless of what I say". I am not trying to control him at all, I am trying to help him for the sake of our marriage and our children. He is not the same person when he is getting high, he mistreats me and the children. When I gave him an ultimatum and told him its over if he continues, he said "oh well then, I guess it will be over", is this because he wants out of the marriage or is it the drug addiction talking?? Please help.......

I met this really great guy through my sis. We talked for a while on myspace and the phone. We were really able to talk to each other. He told me that he had just gotten his heart broken and he realized too late that he loved his girlfriend. He tried to get her back but eventually gave up. He told me that he wasn't ready for a relationship. So we were friends. I went down there(he lives about 600 miles away) and I was immediately attracted to this guy. I'm not easy to impress and I had it bad for him. We continue to talk and I go down there again a couple months later and he wants me to stay with him for the whole nine days. I'm good with it, i really dig this guy. So I meet his mom, dad, sister, brother, pretty much the whole fam. When we are in public and alone he can't not touch me. Whenever a question of spending money comes up, my wife asks for my input. Then, if I show reluctance to spend, she gets angry and recites a long litany of whatever wrongs I may have done or seemed to have done. She is always sure to bring up any spending I might have done on myself and always at least doubles the amount I actually spent when talking about it. If I provide proof that she is inaccurate, she gets even angrier at me. We are always short of money--ALWAYS short of money, and it's always my fault, according to her. Not because I spend but because I never make enough money--she can buy a chinchilla because she "needs" it. It wasn't my decision to have my overtime hours reduced, but it's my fault, and she resented me not being at home when working the overtime. She complains to me at how the house is a mess but refuses to do any housework, herself, because I'm supposed to be "equal" to her in housework as well as working overtime. Is she insane?

I am getting very frustrated about wedding arrangements!!! my fiance is german and comes from a VERY large family. I understand that he wants all of his family to be at our wedding but I am a very simple person and do not want a big-to-do which is what his family expects. We currently have a very small budget and so we really cannot do anything big. I just want a dress and my best friend to stand with me, my parents and a couple of close friends there, while he wants pretty mucha nyone he has met since elementary schoola nd 5 groomsmen! he is so very sweet about it and i love that he is actually trying to help with my planning but I don't know how to break it to him that we cannot do all that he is thinking of - and that i dont really even want any of that.

Any advice would be appreciated.

hey whats up, im 19 now and my dad passed away when i was about 3 in a half.. i was wonderin if it was normal to have most of the side effects? i grew up very insecure and im still shy, and i dont have much confidence.
