That I want to be a stay at home mom for some part of my life?

I'm planning on getting through my credentialing to become a high school teacher and then when kids come want to stay home (and write, preferably, which I've always done).

Why do people have a problem with this?

... you were dating a girl who you were really falling for, for just over a month, then she reveals she's not a waitress as she's always claimed to be... and that she's a lap dancer?

What would be your honest reaction?

No jokey comments please.

So here's the deal. His mom is coming from out of town for Thanksgiving. She and I are close, she's my kid's Grandma and all. I will be picking her up at the airport on Sunday, she will stay with me until Wednesday, when I am going out of town to have the holiday with my boyfriends family. So, anyway, the ex lives across town in a tiny studio apartment, I live in a three bedroom house, big enough dining room, kitchen, etc. I have had the standpoint with the mom that I didn't want the ex in my house when I wasn't there. The reason for this is probably residual bitterness: to understate things, he wasn't that nice to me when we were together. It has been a while(about a year and a half) and we have been lately been getting along a little better. I kind of think it would be gracious of me to offer my house for just that day, so they don't have to be cramped for Thanksgiving dinner. But I am torn!

Do I offer this or do I not?????

My husband and I work at the same company. I am his boss. He was supposed to turn in a project last Monday and he didn't. I had to make an example of him to avoid being unfair to the others, so I suspended him for two weeks without pay. He doesn't talk to me anymore at home! How do I explain to him that work and personal life should not be mixed?

Why don't we just call it a "Wedding Day"? That's what it is!

Why the euphemism? My Special Day sounds like a polite way of saying "The Day I Got My First Period".

I hope you say yes. At the end of a phone call etc............ If you don`t please remember that it does not go without saying. I lost my mum7 years ago and found that i could not forget that i did not tell her i loved her. My daughters and family always say it . i tell my father i love him. It may be a generation thing to finish a phone call with "love you!"

My boyfriend of 9 months wants to have sex! I respect, love and care for him but im just not ready for sex. I have always wanted to stay a virgin until I’m married and he knows that. Im just stuck on what to say without losing him. We just keep going round in circles, he says the cliché line “if you love me you would” and I say “if you love me you wouldn’t” please if anyone has any advice on how to say no but still show that I love him and want to be with him. we are both adults but i believe that even if you 18 or 80 you have a right to stay virgin until your ready!

We used to go to the movies a lot until we had kids, now we hardly get out of the house at all, but tonight, we have the inlaws watching the kids overnight and we are sort of at a loss as to what to do? Also, we are on a tight budget and live the the outer-Chicago area.

My sister in law is very actractive and is always flirting with me. My wife says that she has always been a flirt and does not think nothing about it. My sister in law came up to me recently and wispered in my ear that she would like to have sex with me and that she would keep things quiet. I didn't really respond but looked at her with a supprised smile. She told me to think about it. Unfortunately that is all that I have thought about. I'm not sure if I can trust her and think that perhaps that she and my wife may be pulling a prank on me. But then again she may not be kidding. Should I take the oppertunity and go for it, or should I pass. I'll feel that I will be dammed either way, A. if I go for it I may feel guilty for the rest of my life, and B. if I don't then I may later feel bad that I missed my chance. I'm not getting any younger and I know that as you get older these kind of things dont' come around as much.

An elderly gent in Perth Scotland has popped the question to what he calls "his bidy-in" at the age of 96... the lady in question is a mere 74 years old.... I think this is a real heart-warming story. The local Registrar says that he could be the oldest person to marry.

Ok so this is what happened. I was in the library today at school and 2 of my friends and this girl I don't like were talking out loud so i heard the whole conversation. The girl i dont like said "Her boyfriend is cheating and she's clueless." and my friend started singing Secret Lovers. I had no idea who they were talking about so I didn't care. So then I went to my locker and I saw a note and it said my boyfriend's name and some girl's name and then it said secret lovers. So when I got back to the class I looked at all 3 of them and they smiled and i just sat down at my desk and said nothing. Please help me somebody I'm falling apart. School is already stressful enough and he' making it worse. What should I do?

I knew a girl thru online since 6 months. We both talk to each other on phone daily ,for almost 1 hr.We reside at different places and didn't see each other. She is a nice girl with a gud behaviour and 4m the very first day,i started loving her, seeing her attitude .I recently proposed her,to which she agreed. But,the problem is she doesn't want to marry me,it's noto nly me she doesn't want to marry any other guy in her life and would sacrifice her life for her grand parents who brought her up all these days.I know she loves me a lot,but she tries to avoid me and asks me to marry aother girl and get settled, which I cannot do,as I love her.Every alternate day she picks up a fight with me and tries to avoid. Why do girls behave such way?

My boyfriend and I have been dating for almost a year. He's a really nice guy. He has given me no reason not to trust him, and maybe it's just my over reacting imagination but there were a few rumors about him hooking up with another girl. The rumors came from a very unreliable source, but I mean, they HAD to start somewhere. And lately it seems like he is being more distant. I could just be making it up b/c of what I heard. idk. I feel that I should trust him more, but I also feel that I should look into these things before we get to serious. what to do?!

do you think the saying is true that when you are drunk you really do speak you mind and lose inhibitions!!!!

Can you give me an example

I met this guy and he has always been really lovely to me as friend and said thats all he wanted right now but last night he texted me and said he wanted more...potentially a relationship
i was a bit taken a back because i had come to accept we were going to be friends-- so i just replied a laugh and a little nice jokey message- he has since replied saying he was drunk last night!!!!!!

I understand that in most cases an abuser will not change, it is a never ending cycle and that change can only happen if the abuser really wants it and admits readily to their bad behavior. What I would like to know is if there is anyone who has been a victim and witnessed a change in the abuser? I realize this would be a rare occurrence. Is there anything specific that brought about the change or any methods that seemed to help specifically? Thank you!

.
