An elderly gent in Perth Scotland has popped the question to what he calls "his bidy-in" at the age of 96... the lady in question is a mere 74 years old.... I think this is a real heart-warming story. The local Registrar says that he could be the oldest person to marry.

your never to old to get married, this man is unfortunately in his last few years and so should cherish the moments he has left. if this lady makes him happy then he should go for it, so many people waste time thinking things through a lot of the time but they should get out there and have a great time making the most of the time he has left and making even more beautifful memories.

I think that's really cute and to me age is only a number it's how you really feel inside that counts. I guess this gentleman still feels like a young man at heart, best of luck to him!!

Good question,
Thank you.

I think he should go out with her for a few more years yet to make sure he aint making a mistake......you know what they say....marry in haste, repent at leisure.
