Although its pretty much true for most people to lose their inhibitions when they're drunk, but its possible that he just said he was drunk when he asked you because you replied with a "laugh and a nice jokey message" so that he would...well...just have an excuse.

Yes, this is soo true ! I've done some weird things while drunk.. My friend brought his gf that I detest to the bar with him and normally I'm nice to her but, I had been drinking and I basically told her to her face that she was a slutty ***** and that I didn't like her... Which she is.. She constantly cheated while with my friend... Normally, I wouldn't behave in such a manner.. I would've had a good time with my friend and ignored her. So alcohol made me speak my mind...

It's true that your brain slows down when you drink alcohol, some times people say things they mean other times they say things they completely regret after sobriety sets in.

that is what they usually say.......what you say when you are drunk is what you really want to say when you are sober....but honestly a drunk man usually means a horney man. if you get my drift. just look into his actions more and see what he is doing. dont let yourself be taken away from it. if he knows you like him then i am sure you are going to be getting a lot of flirting by him when he is drinking.

It is true. Alcohol really affects your brain. It depresses certain parts of the brain that can even make you forget to breathe

Most people do lose their inhibitions.
But I think everything they say is not always true.

Yeah he likes you, but if he hasn't asked you out when he's sober then he doesn't like you that much.
