When my younger brother was learning how to talk, he pronounced my name a little funny: my name is Kristin, but he'd say "Kod-un". It kind of sounded like "cotton", only a lot quicker and with a D sound instead of T.

yeah.. my lil sisters and brother used to call me weiwen and iggyfet. It's really common when they can't pronounce a word they'll make a nickname for it and call it that until they can pronounce that word

not me but my boys used to call one another bobo and o.d. they couldn't pronounce the real names at the time.
